Fillibuster Reform. An idea whose time has truly come. I hope the cameras pan the room when byrd lays his head on kennedy's stomach-pillow and drools on teddy's new suit.

My Lettor to the editor (I had to cut it down to less than 200 words or it will be cut for me:

Just in case anyone thought the Democrats have always supported the idea of holding up judicial nominees that one may deem "extreme" or "not qualified", I present the record. Seems their hypocrisy knows no end.

* Joseph Biden (D-DE) "everyone who is nominated is entitled to have a … vote on the floor."

* Carl Levin (D-MI) "If a bipartisan majority of the U.S. Senate is prepared to vote to confirm the President's appointment, that vote should occur."

I hope someone will re-post all the Senate phone numbers and flood them with support and ideas to have someone repeat past Democrat quotes over and over and do it for their speech....
