So, according to Dean, it is okay to dispose of people who might not have full capacity.
Jeb Bush did the right thing. The family of the brain-damaged woman did not want her to die. Sorry if it is an inconvenience to her husband.
What's next? Parents can starve children on feeding tubes to death when they decide that the child prevents them from taking a vacation to the Bahamas? Using Dean's logic, this is fine.
Great, so if he gets into office, God forbid, anyone who may be on a feeding tube or any other type of assistance to live will be pegged to die if their loved ones find them to be an inconvenience? How lovely.

It's so easy to keep widening that set of people who can be disposed of.

As usual, self-described feminist groups were silent about yet another politician calling for a woman to be killed according to her husband's wishes ... for the crime of being inconvenient and expensive. Does NOW think Mrs. Schiavo is mere chattel? Great line. I'll have to remember that one.

Still apparently not known:
doctors do not take the Hippocratic Oath.Maybe they should it forbids abortion but they don't.
Common misconception. (No pun intended.)

So, according to Dean, it is okay to dispose of people who might not have full capacity. Wouldn't that encompass a large percentage of his voters? I would think that would be counterproductive.

There are those who want to see Dean get the nomination because he'd be easiest to beat. Personally, I think that's insane...the media does a number, and who knows?...he could even win.
Some long shots just aren't worth the risk.

Here is something that I was thinking about...doesn't Dean's logic follow closely to the logic of Hitler, Mengele, and the rest of Nazi party, who euthanized anyone brain-damaged or mentally deficient?

"I'm tired of people in the Legislature thinking that they have an M.D. when what they really have is a B.S." Dean's opinion on Terri has nothing to do with him being an M.D., and everything to do with him being a Leftist Democrat. Dean wouldn't know which end of the feeding tube goes in.

Is anyone willing to attest that you once watched the movie "The Candidate" with Dean, after which he made the comment, "I wouldn't want to live like that!"?
If so, there are at least 3 medical experts we can count on to agree to the diagnosis of persistent vegetative state whenever called upon. If we file suit in Pinellas County, Florida, we could probably have this particular hypocritic oaf locked in a room without food and water before the ink is dry on the Judge's order.

The liberals are SO behind-times! Dean seems to believe the public still look up to doctors as little mini-gods. That hasn't been true for lo! many decades!
