Alright, you were there and did your part, and I understand your position. It makes sense if the action were confined in their backyard.

The problem I have with the bring it on attitude in this case as opposed to W talking about Iraq is that this warning targets civilians. I'd rather not be cavalier about calling that down on anyone. There are lots of posters who have seen the results up close and know what I'm talking about.

The original Bring it on post is from a "twenty-something" individual. Waterbury Ct. just buried a "twenty-something" individual who died in uniform in theater. He enlisted just after 9.11 because he wanted to do something.

I hear you. Before I went in the Army my grandmother asked me "what if you have to go to war?" My response was "well, why should I have to rely on somebody else's grandson to do it?" About 6 months after that comment I was with the 24ID on the ground in Saudi. And I didn't push pencils, I was a loader on an M1 tank.

I hate to hear about any loss of life, including Italians or innocent Iraqi civilians. But this has to be dealt with and there is only one way to deal with it. If we left Iraq right now, do you think the terrorist attacks would stop? Hell no, they would regroup and plan another big one like 9/11. We have to take this to them. "Let's roll!" Remember that? That was an American civilian saying "bring it on." If we keep that mentality and don't lose sight we will win this. And there is no telling how many lives we may have saved in the long run.

You're forgetting that some of the civilians saying bring it on may be some of the supposed targets. There's nothing wrong with defying those who threaten you with death. At least we're not challenging them to some stupid dual. We're still kicking @ss, despite the way the media makes it look.

What the terrorist have is threats against civilians so they can savor the resulting fear, and car bombs, with or without former human beings transporting them.

Their tactics in blowing up Saudi targets, Red Cross and UN workers shows their utter stupidity in biting the hand that feeds and nurtures them financially only makes President Bush's case and his descriptions of the Enemy that much stronger to more and more people. They are shooting themselves in the foot.

Hmmm...their implosion seems to mirror that of the left in general. Coincidence?
