Well, Freepers it's going to be a looooooooooong day in the senate today, tonight, Thursday, and I'm guessing into Friday.
I figure we'll need a LIVE thread for this.
Looks like Tom Daschle is going to be speaking at 8:45am this morning followed by Frist at 9:11am

Waste of time not to mention the phrase "too little, too late" comes to mind.

Thanks for getting this off to an early start!
I saw this PC yesterday, notice the smarmy grin when Dashole says that it is the majorities fault if things don't get done.

"...going to be a looooooooooong day..."This marathon has got to be the most curiously structured parliamentary battle in history.
I'm sure that some sort of Pyrrhic victory will be ours, but I'm not too sure that it will be worth the cost. Unfortunately, both sides are going to believe they came out looking better, and they'll both be wrong.

You're right, thanks for pointing that out. But, I don't think Tommy will have anything different to BS on today from yesterday.

All the C-SPAN2 schedule shows is the first nine hours starting at 9:30am.
I'm wondering if that is part of the 30 hours of debate?
