It is the Veteran
That gave us our freedom.
Sierra Vista Arizona Remembers that on Veteran's Day.
When the colors passed the people stood and gave the proper courtesy to the colors and all along the parade route as the old timers passed and current serving troops passed could be heard the words, sometimes soft and sweetly as in a mother's voice and somtimes booming from a patriot watching;
Thank You!
We Love You!
God Bless You!

---just came from the Las Vegas,NV parade--a great 2hrs, 45 minutes of almost all veterans-oriented entries--
Republicans were in it with floats, etc--no Demos-wonder why?

We had two women carrying a banner for the "Women Democratic Voter's" and that was it.
I hope all the image links worked.
It was gray and over cast and the only real bright ray of sunshine was right on the mountain foothills on post. Think there's a message there?
The parade lasted about an hour+ and then a slight drizzle started about an hour after the end of the prarade.
We'll be having a US Flag Retirement Ceremony at the City's Veteran's Park (yes that's the official name) tonight at about 6:30 p.m.
This is a wonderfull town.
