Chandler replied: "Mitch McConnell will stoop to anything. ... He's got no standard. He will lie, he will cheat, he will do anything, and that's not public service, that's not statesmanship. That's just raw political power . . . Mitch is my idol!"

Mitch McConnell is the father of the KY GOP. Thanks to him, he has spawned many GOP officeholders in KY.

Assuming she's pro-life (probably a safe assumption), it'd be nice to have another pro-life woman in the House.

If Kerr wins the KY-06, she could be groomed for the Senate. Considering that the 2 current KY Senators have potential health problems (McConnell had heart surgery earlier this year and Bunning is 73 ys old), KY could have open Senate races later on in the decade. It would awesome if the next 2 Senators from KY are pro-life women, Northup and Kerr.

**"If the fellow who lost the governor's race Tuesday is thinking about running in the 6th District and he was whining about how much money he didn't have in the governor's race, he ain't seen nothin' yet," McConnell said to whoops and applause at the Republican State Central Committee meeting.**
Sounds like the RNC is on the way to making more money and standing behind these candidates.

That would be awesome, although Fletcher could be lined up for the Bunning seat in 2010, part way through his second term.
