SANFORD, Fla. -- A man wanted in connection with the 2001 murder of an elderly Arizona woman was arrested by Seminole County sheriff's deputies on Saturday on charges of capital sexual battery, kidnapping and attempted felony murder against a 10-year-old girl.
Antonio Rosales, 33, allegedly kidnapped the child into a wooded area near a shopping plaza on Nov. 1. The girl briefly lost consciousness and when she awoke, her attacker was gone, sheriff's officials said.
Rosales voluntarily made himself available for questioning on Thursday and identified himself as an illegal Guatemalan immigrant named Javier Ramirez.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, however, identified him Friday as Rosales.
Police investigators from Tuscon, Ariz. arrived to arrest Rosales on charges of first-degree murder and sexual assault in connection with the death of Dolores Netherton Salvatierra, 74, who was found dead inside her home. Rosales confessed to those crimes Saturday, according to Seminole County sheriff's officials.
Rosales was being held in the Seminole County Jail on Saturday without bond.

Vicente Fox loves it, and he seems to be managing America's immigration program.
