I wouldn't feed Atkins bread to my worst enemy. It tastes like cardboard coated with chemicals. Taste, texture, consistency, everything's WRONG.
I just eat a slice of whole grain bread occasionally.
I have also found low-carb taco shells on the net, which means we can have tacos with about 2 grams per taco.
There are ways to do this, if bakeries will do the research.
Eat it all the time. Tastes better than most commercial bread. The Atkins Sourdough is very good, and the Rye and Country White are not bad. Not as good as real San Francisco sourdough, but I'll take it over the spongy white bread they sell in stores.
Trader Joes also carries a couple varieties of low carb bread already made. Not bad either.

I've found, in general, that if a food has the "Atkins" label on it, it's going to be way overpriced, and really awful tasting! I bought some vitamins and supplements directly from Atkins, and they sent me some packages of their Crunchers chips. They were horrible! I had to trhow them away. I've also tried a few of the atkins bars as well, and they were all terrible! I found I couldn't eat the damn things. Blech!

I did try the low carb bread. Once. That was enough for me. Maybe they should make cigarettes with the same kind of recipe. That would make people quit smoking!
One thing I notice among fellow normal-carbers such as myself on these threads. Many of them are looking for "low-carb" substitutes of foods they just shouldn't be eating in the first place. Ice cream, pies, cakes, cookies, candies, etc. I find it easier just to give that stuff up once and for all.
