[history]
Attorney General Bill Lockyer said Friday that part of the reason he's been insisting Gov.-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger submit to an independent review of groping allegations is because someone came to him recently with information about an alleged incident that happened last year.

The last 2 paragraphs say it all.
To paraphrase.. "I try and not portray myself as a snake (or Chairman Mao), but some folks just see right through me."

This is borderline slander. I hope Arnie flogs this craven creep!!

It's interesting to watch those who didn't want to get to the bottom of rape charges, demand we deal squarely with groping and get to the bottom of those charges.

Where does MoveOn stand on this?

New politics. Same as the old politics.

What is going on?
The California AG repeats hearsay in his official capacity and not a single ethics question, let alone formal ethics charges are raised by either the governor, the legislature or the California BAR.
Lockyer obviously feels he is insulated from the law and the responsibility of his elected office. I wonder if California has an appetite to impeach the AG.

Funny...I heard Lockyer is a Satan worshiper. Guess we'd better have an investigation.
To: NormsRevenge
Since A.G. Lockyer is so concerned by second-hand allegations that Arnold groped somebody, it seems odd that he would be so unconcerned by first-hand allegations that Bill Clinton raped Juanita Broadrick. </sarcasm>

Didn't Lockyer dump his wife for his pregnant mistress? I saw him making truly stupid comments regarding the Scott Peterson case, possibly damaging the case -- shouldn't that be investigated?

Arnold should ignore all of this garbage.
If someone wants redress, they shoud hire a lawyer and file suit.
Democrats have no shame; no principles and no hope.

The Terminator should sue the socks off anyone making unfounded allegations they cannot back up, and that includes the AG who is trying to make political capitol off this crap.
