As soon as I saw the story, I ran a check of the New York Times. Unless I'm mistaken they haven't covered it.
Now, let's assume the story were reversed, and five Harvey Milk HS students had been robbed by would-be policemen. Do you think the Times might have covered the latest incident of "homophobia?" </end rhetorical question>
