FBI Probes Suspicious Incident at Jewish Girls Middle School (Saudi Suspects)

Officials at a Jewish girls middle school in Mount Washington told parents last week that the FBI is investigating a Middle Eastern couple who were spotted videotaping the Smith Avenue campus and pupils.

Shlomo Spetner, president of Bais Yaakov School for Girls, wrote to parents on Oct. 31 that a parent had spotted a car with a man and woman who appeared to be Middle Eastern.

The man is a Saudi national who is a student at a local college, Spetner said. According to a police report, he lives in the Fallstaff neighborhood of Northwest Baltimore.

Or people doing real estate comparables, traffic studies, etc. Even tourists. I've read more than a few of these "video" stories having reasonable explanations.

But this guy is a student. Sounds different.

The car that the snipers used had a piece of paper under the seat with the names of 4 schools. I'm almost certain they were in Baltimore. (I caught this from Malvo's trial and it is on the web someplace.

There's a small airport near my area, Orange County Airport, it's not a major airport at all.
However, there was a rather swarthy type in a rented minivan stopped at the side of the road with his driver's door open into traffic standing on the doorsill videotaping the airport in 2002.
No-one was interested.
