Brave, patriotic, and modest.

God bless you PFC Jessica Lynch. Welcome home.

"My weapon did jam and I did not shoot, not a round, nothing.

What kind of gun? Did sand gum it up?

What bothers me about this is that it was the media that blew this all out of shape. I never remember any military spokesman detailing anything about her capture or what led up to it. I do remember them saying that it appeared dhe had been shot, but none of this stuff about RAMBO scenes or fight to the death small arms exchanges

Poor kid, the bastards sodomised her while she was unconscious according to news reports I heard today.

And what about the bastards who allowed this poor kid to be in a combat zone in the first place?
Since time immemorial, men have gone to war to fight for their women and children.
It is a sick culture when "men" send women to war to fight for them.
Unless our Commander in Chief takes a stand against this madness, I fear for the future of our free republic.

ABC said that in the interview she discussed for the first time a report she was sexually assaulted during her captivity, saying that she did not remember such an incident but adding, "even just the thinking about that, that's too painful."

ABC says Jessica discussed "a report" that she was "sexually assaulted". Jessica says she has no memory of this. Who is the report from? This is too ambiguous, and it seems to be more of the same kind of innuendo that got the rumors going about Miss Lynch firing off rounds.

She doesn't remember the rape. How can she remember in such detail what happened on the battlefield or during her rescue? I'm no expert on amnesia. Can it be that selective?

Sorry, I'm not buying any of this crap. First she says her rescue was hyped, and she was used by the military??? How would she know about the situation of her rescue when she was barely coherent, lying on her back? and now she thinks she was RAPED? Does Jessica all of a sudden recovered memories that were obscured by her Amnesia?, or is she just "spicing" up her book with a juicy rape charge?..the whole thing stinks!

I always knew the Rambo stories were not treu. It doesn't amke a difference. I am glad the Private Lynch is telling the truth, and I give her credit. I am glad she is remembering the heroes who helped her, and the ones who have passed. I wish she would acknowledge the Iraqi man who helped her. I don't know the whole story there though.

I pray she will recover quickly from her injuries and she will be able to put her nightmares behind her.

She is no hero. And it was an absolute waste of time and money to have her in US Army.

Maybe you have seen it, but I read a thread on here where she blamed the military for embelishing her capture
An early media report quoted unnamed U.S. officials as saying she "fought to the death" before being captured and suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The Army later concluded she was hurt when her Humvee crashed into another vehicle in the convoy after being hit by a grenade.
But didn't the media source who fabricated the account of her capture come out and say they lied?
