PELOSI DEMOCRATS WRONG ON PARTIAL-BIRTH ABORTION

Defied Will Of American People And Voted Against
Banning Gruesome Late-Term Abortion Procedure

________________________________________________________

As President Bush Promotes Culture Of Life,
Democrat Presidential Candidates Pander To
Abortion Extremists In New Hampshire

Vast Majority Of Americans Support Banning Partial-Birth Abortion. (CNN/USA Today/Gallup Poll, Conducted 1/10-12; Surveyed 1,002 Adults; Margin Of Error +/- 3%, Released 1/15/03, As Quoted In National Journal’s The Hotline, 1/15/03)

Planned Parenthood Rejects Any Restrictions On Abortion, Wants To Use Taxpayer Dollars To Pay For Abortion, And Opposes Ban On Partial-Birth Abortion. Democrat Presidential Candidates Howard Dean, John Kerry, John Edwards, Wesley Clark And Carol Moseley Braun To Address Planned Parenthood Federation Of America/Planned Parenthood Of Northern New England Forum Tonight. “Abortion must always be a matter of personal choice. Planned Parenthood recognizes its responsibility to guard equally against coercion or denial of services in connection with a patient’s decision about continuing a pregnancy. No one should be denied abortion services solely because of age, or economic or social circumstances. Public funds should be made available to subsidize the cost of abortion services for those who choose abortion but cannot afford it.” (Planned Parenthood, Policy Statement On Abortion, Planned Parenthood Website, www.plannedparenthood.org, Accessed 11/5/03; Planned Parenthood, Press Release, 10/22/03; Planned Parenthood Website, www.plannedparenthood.org, Accessed 11/5/03)

PARTIAL-BIRTH ABORTION: THE TRUTH

Describing Partial-Birth Abortion: Partial-Birth Abortion is a procedure where “the abortionist pulls a living baby feet-first out of the womb and into the birth canal (vagina), except for the head, which the abortionist purposely keeps lodged just inside the cervix (the opening to the womb). The abortionist punctures the base of the baby’s skull with a surgical instrument, such as a long surgical scissors or a pointed hollow metal tube called a trochar. He then inserts a catheter (tube) into the wound, and removes the baby’s brain with a powerful suction machine. This causes the skull to collapse, after which the abortionist completes the delivery of the now-dead baby.” (National Right To Life Committee Website, www.nrlc.org, Accessed 11/12/02)

According To American Medical Association, Partial-Birth Abortions Are “Not Medically Indicated.” On May 19, 1997, H.R. 1122, “The Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act Of 1997,” was endorsed by the American Medical Association in a letter to Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA), stating, “Although our general policy is to oppose legislation criminalizing medical practice or procedure, the AMA has supported such legislation where the procedure was narrowly defined and not medically indicated. H.R. 1122 now meets both those tests.”(American Medical Association, Letter To The Honorable Rick Santorum, 5/19/97)

FOR SOME DEMOCRATS, PARTIAL-BIRTH
ABORTION NOT PARTISAN ISSUE

Former Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan (D-NY) On Partial Birth Abortion: “It is as close to infanticide as anything I have come upon in our judiciary.” (“Moynihan Opposes Partial-Birth Abortion,” The [Albany, NY] Times Union, 5/12/96)

Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT) On Overriding Clinton’s Veto Of 1996 Partial-Birth Abortion Ban As Matter Of Conscience: “The Senate can only be our Nation’s conscience if we Senators follow ours on these matters. I respect all my constituents and all the Senators who will vote on this override. But on this issue my conscience, and my conscience alone, must determine my vote. I will vote to override.” (Sen. Biden, Congressional Record, 10/20/99, S 12861)

BUT PELOSI DEMOCRATS SIDE WITH PRO-ABORTION EXTREMISTS;
IGNORE MAINSTREAM AMERICA

Cannot fathom a reason in anyone's mind to vote against this ban on this Gruesome Late-Term Abortion. Have yet to have anyone explain why it would be necessary that makes any sense at all!

The pro-abortion people shopped and found their friendly Judge in NE to sign a stay on the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Bill taking effect. Don't take it anymore -- Please call talk radio and write your media today to protest. You can find the information you need for your area by visiting Bush-Cheney '04 at:

I still find it hard to believe that ONE judge can thwart the voice of 280 million people.

All we need now are judges to govern us. We don't need any elected officials to be accountable anymore. The judges can just make the laws as they see fit and we have no say or recourse in the matter. How do you like our new form of government? We better make our voices known now or we will no longer have a free republic(not this website).

I fail understand why the AVERAGE AMERICAN cannot see the barbarity of partial birth abortion. The child is approximately 5/6ths the way out of the birth canal. How does the BIRTH of the child endanger the mother? Then again, and forgive me for this, the AVERAGE AMERICAN cares only about two things: when the next TV GUIDE will be in the mail AND who is going to be on the cover of the next issue of PEOPLE magazine.

These mindless morons who wave signs proclaiming their rights to choice mostly have no clue as to what an abortion looks like.

The quickest way to allow them their right to choose is to, at prime time TV, run a video of a complete abortion process. From the murder for money clinic with their hand out for payment first, to yhe actual abortion process.

The process of the partial birth, to the sucking out of the babies brains to be followed by the throwing of the murdered babies lifeless, brainless little body into the garbage can.

I think it would make wonderful viewing for the entire family, mommy, daddy, teenagers, and children as young as possible.

This entire process of PBA is morally defenceless and totally perverted. They is no way anyone can defend and support this horrific practice.

The acceptance of money to perform this action is truely the most perverted of the entire horrofic act.

I wonder if the LORD ever tires of sheding tears for the millions and millions of his most inocent of mankind through this perverted defenceless act.

I wonder how long mankind will be allowed to keep poking him in the eye before he final reacts. Although he is slow to anger heaven help us when he does, and being legal will carry no weight what so ever.

Oh they do. It's something like 89% see it as infanticide.
You're just hearing the left wing minions screaming. They think they're being cast out before their time. They shouldn't be that frightrened, at least they have a herd of pigs to house them for a while.

MIDI - WHO'S CRYING NOW

Life is a mystery…we are in awe to see
It is a journey through and through
There is both good and bad…we try to smile, though sad
We must do what is right to do

When a baby's formed…he waits to be born
Partial birth abortion's wrong
Hear his beating heart…his life's set to start
Partial birth abortion's wrong

So many times in life…we must face up to strife
And conquer our adversity
But selfish feelings grow
It might be tough you know
Don't give up your soul with what you do

When a baby's formed…he waits to be born
Partial birth abortion's wrong
Hear his beating heart…his life's set to start
Partial birth abortion's wrong

For how many more must we all be crying
And how long 'til it's over
When we will say that not one more child...will suffer and die
Not one more child will die…no more will die

When a baby's formed…he waits to be born
Partial birth abortion's wrong
Hear his beating heart…his life's set to start
Partial birth abortion's wrong

(musical finish)

In fact, he can't without the acquisence of the Government. Technically, he is in abuse of his injunctive ower, but so many of these guys have gotten away with this kind of stunt--which ought not be allowed unless the public peace is threatened--that we have taken it for granted. Another usurpation of the legilsative power by the courts.

Federal Judge in N.Y. Blocks Abortion Ban

By LARRY NEUMEISTER, Associated Press Writer

NEW YORK - In a ruling that could have coast-to-coast effect, a federal judge Thursday blocked the government's new ban on certain late-term abortions — the second court victory for abortion-rights advocates since President Bush signed the law.

U.S. District Judge Richard Casey granted a request by the National Abortion Federation and seven doctors to block enforcement of the ban. The ruling applies only to the plaintiffs, but it could have broad application. The federation says that its members perform half of the abortions done nationwide.

The decision follows a separate ruling Wednesday by a federal judge in Nebraska who also blocked the ban — less than an hour after Bush enacted the law. That ruling covers four doctors, who together are licensed in 13 states across the Midwest and East, and their staffs. A San Francisco judge has also scheduled arguments in a similar challenge.

Casey noted in a three-page order that the plaintiffs would suffer irreparable harm without a court injunction.

He said the government made clear at a hearing Wednesday that the medical community is conflicted as to whether the procedures covered by the law are necessary to protect a woman's health and that Congress did not find a consensus.

"Given the (government's) position, the court is constrained, at this time, to conclude that it is substantially likely that plaintiffs will succeed on the merits," Casey wrote.

Michael Kulstad, a spokesman for U.S. Attorney James B. Comey, whose office argued the case before Casey, declined comment.

Louise Melling, director of the American Civil Liberties Union's Reproductive Freedom Project, called the decision "incredibly important for women's health." The ACLU represented the National Abortion Federation in the court challenge.

Donna Lieberman, executive director of the New York Civil Liberties Union, said the ruling would have an effect nationwide.

"It's hard to imagine the federal government would try to enforce the law against anyone who might be providing abortions but is not a member of the protected group," Lieberman said.

"Allowing Congress to practice medicine without a license endangers the lives and health of women," said Vicki Saporta, chief executive officer of the federation. "Thankfully, the court understood the gravity of the situation and stopped this law from taking effect."

From those links, this observation ...

"DSA/USA, the 'Democratic Socialists of America' are the U.S. arm of the Socialist International. They share the symbol of the fist holding the rose, and they share the tasks to be accomplished — in our case, an altogether different America.

"Some time ago — the date is missing from the descriptions — 58 members of the U.S. House of Representatives formed a subdivision of the Democratic Socialists of America and called it the Progressive Caucus. Their statement of purpose, as well as their membership list, formed an integral part of the dsausa Web site (www.dsausa.org). The membership list appeared on the screen with the continuous background of the fist holding the rose, should anyone have missed the connection with the Socialist International."
