Politicized Memo Creates RowWashington Post ^ | November 6, 2003 | Dana PriestThe FACT that certain unknown Democrats are focusing more on taking down the president than intelligence, while we are at war and 2 years after suffering the worst attack on this country's soil, is unacceptable and as Zell Miller said, borders on treason.
Democrats use national security intelligence for political purpose
It is vital that the National Republican Senatorial Committee NOT give the Democrats a pass on their planned use of the power and resources of the Senate Intelligence Committee as a political tool against our President...
...watching Rockefeller as he appeared on CNN. They described him as looking scared, stunned and shell-shocked!! It was their (Liddy & Hill) opinion that if it were a staffer who did this, Rocky would be angry and show it. This is quite telling.
They got in such a twist over the Rumsfield memo the Dems were calling for him to resign.
Now this... comes out and boy, o boy, the 'rats are running for cover like roaches when the lights are turned on.
Democrats can not be trusted with national security. This is the proof.
--Can't wait to see the spinning on this one. Money says the Democrats go on the offensive and accuse Bush of not giving them proper intelligence or some such. The more you pin these people down the louder they scream--
Exactly. They're fanatics.

Quote from Zell Miller ( D-Ga ):
"If what has happened here is not treason, it is its first cousin."
Zell Miller is on Linda Vester's show Zell says heads should roll over this You don't compromise intellegence in a time of War --
I called my two senators and congressman and they said they have been getting bombarded with calls on this latest outrage. Staffers told me that the voters are absolutely seething over this.
This has gone passed the point of partisan politics and is entering the realm of sedition...
As expected, most of the media is blacking out the story on the leaked Democrat memo...
Of course you know if this was the other way around...it would be the lead story for a month.
Turn on HANNITY......He's still going at it about this memo...

A terrific piece by Den Beste illustrates how previous generations of opposition presidential candidates have placed country before party when it came to wartime intelligence

NY POST ^ | November 6, 2003 | BRIAN BLOMQUIST
A group of European social democrats, led by former British Foreign Minister Robin Cook, met last week with several top Democratic politicians and party officials. They included US senators Hilary Clinton and Joseph Biden.
They also had meetings with Ron Klain of presidential candidate Wesley Clark's campaign, and Stan Greenberg, former US President Bill Clinton's campaign strategist in 1992."

Thank you, and I appreciate those pings.
This malodorous treachery must not be swept under the rug. We aren't in the Clinon 1990's anymore- this is a new and very dangerous century.

First, the journalists, THEN the lawyers...
Geez, don't get me started- although instead of shooting them, I'd settle for a public flogging...

If Howlin every manages to get back on-line (she's locked-out and waiting for a technician --- 4 days now) she'll use her ping list. Guaranteed.
You're welcome. It is impossible to over praise you and to express my appreciation properly. You are my dear, sweet friend and a fabulous asset to FR.

I wondered where Howlin was. I didn't realize how much I depend on her.
Great job. Thank you.

" You are my dear, sweet friend and a fabulous asset to FR." I second that backhoe, but being a Georgia country boy like yourself, leave off the dear and sweet adjectives more emphasising the "asset to FR" part of Onyx's post.:)
Wonder where ABCCBSNBCCNN are, who were so concerened with national security during the Plume affair, but have been silent on this one.
They are just as treasonous as the dims.

Well, when I didn't see her here for 3 days, I called her yesterday. Dang, the technician has kept her waiting for a long time. She's getting a lot of cleaning done, but she's miserable not being here!

"LOL! Well, I am California girl --- sweet and dear are "standard" terms of endearment. I adore backhoe! How's that? LOL!" LOL...That's fine for a Cali girl, but not for a Georgia boy who considers "getting in touch with his feminine side" to mean any physical contact with Ms. VC.
