Politicized Memo Creates RowWashington Post ^ | November 6, 2003 | Dana PriestThe FACT that certain unknown Democrats are focusing more on taking down the president than intelligence, while we are at war and 2 years after suffering the worst attack on this country's soil, is unacceptable and as Zell Miller said, borders on treason.
Democrats use national security intelligence for political purpose
It is vital that the National Republican Senatorial Committee NOT give the Democrats a pass on their planned use of the power and resources of the Senate Intelligence Committee as a political tool against our President...
...watching Rockefeller as he appeared on CNN. They described him as looking scared, stunned and shell-shocked!! It was their (Liddy & Hill) opinion that if it were a staffer who did this, Rocky would be angry and show it. This is quite telling.
They got in such a twist over the Rumsfield memo the Dems were calling for him to resign.
Now this... comes out and boy, o boy, the 'rats are running for cover like roaches when the lights are turned on.
Democrats can not be trusted with national security. This is the proof.
--Can't wait to see the spinning on this one. Money says the Democrats go on the offensive and accuse Bush of not giving them proper intelligence or some such. The more you pin these people down the louder they scream--
Exactly. They're fanatics.

Quote from Zell Miller ( D-Ga ):
"If what has happened here is not treason, it is its first cousin."
Zell Miller is on Linda Vester's show Zell says heads should roll over this You don't compromise intellegence in a time of War --
I called my two senators and congressman and they said they have been getting bombarded with calls on this latest outrage. Staffers told me that the voters are absolutely seething over this.
This has gone passed the point of partisan politics and is entering the realm of sedition...
As expected, most of the media is blacking out the story on the leaked Democrat memo...
Of course you know if this was the other way around...it would be the lead story for a month.
Turn on HANNITY......He's still going at it about this memo...

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1018342/posts ***Why Is Matt Drudge Burying "The Memo"***
Stardate: 0311.10
Drudge is not a conservative, but a true moderate. He was outraged by the felonius conduct of Clinton, is proudly pro-life, and doesn't censor his news coverage through the lens of political correctness.
This leads the 'rat's media to label him a far rightwinger...

Just like the Clinton "impeachment", nothing will come
of it. Democrat corruption is winked at. I was very
disappointed by the Senate after the House had the
guts to do the right thing in that fiasco. Don't know
whether or not much has changed. Maybe.

I'd be the first to tell you that the impeachment fiasco pretty well destroyed what little faith I had left in my "representatives," and the public.
That said, things may be different this time around- the Establishment Media has lost its stranglehold on the flow of information- so I try to remain cautiously optimistic.

Thanks for the link... you know, I often wonder if our institutions ( like the Senate ) have become too hidebound and slow for this new century. Skimming over the various pronouncements, it almost seems whimsical.
