Normally my cable runs Court TV on time delays so I can't watch what East Coasters and such watch. But during high profile cases we go LIVE.
And today they are evidently doing just that. Catherine Crier coming up next, right?
To: cyncooper
Yes,CST gets it live.

If Laci faced a gun and the LE knew it because of "spattuh" that could well explain Sharon's upset this morning. Oh my G-d. My heart breaks anew.
And Devil Anse mentions above that there was a bullet MISSING in the gun. Yikes.
No wonder all the mopping and the bleach. And the draining of the pool. That b@stard must have shot her in the head. And he hangs her beautiful picture up on his wall. I could death penalty him myself.

Where is Sandylapper?? When you get here Sandy - SEE, I told you there was gonna be LOTS of incriminating stuff on Snott. There is NOT a CHANCE he didn't Kill Laci & Connor. The Prosecution has just STARTED letting the good stuff out - there is plenty more and WORSE to come. Remember when the Rocha's very suddenly closed the Search Centre forever - THAT's when they knew definitively that Laci was dead!! I hope a LOT of this is a surprise to Geragos. No wonder they are talking planted evidence and sex addict etc. THIS DEFENSE TEAM IS CLIMBING UPHILL WITH SNOT ON THEIR SHOES!!

Did you see where it said that MG will ask for charges to be dismissed in reguards to the FBI tapes??
Dev, what's up with that??
To: Canadian Outrage
On a lighter note before I blow a fuse here, right now I am sure that Robert Blake is on the phone to his attorneys informing them that he had just been playing with an old outboard motor the day of his wife's untimely demise.

... and let's see, what else did I learn from you and the others (forgive the repetition):
The FBI had Scott's home under video surveillance, from a neighbor's house. I assume this began after Laci became "missing", perhaps it began on Christmas?
Oh, have to ping Sandylapper, though I'm sure she already knows this: They report that Amber discovered that Scott was married on Dec. 9! Sandy, you were only 2 days off in calculating that!
And Amber confronted him with this, which was when he said he was a "widower".
It looks like that secret warehouse was of a type which is supposed to be for storing boats and RV's; now it really begins to look like that was the one of his warehouses where he kept the boat.
The police found 2 unopened packs of fishing lures in Scott's truck.
Scott called Amber in January and told her he had a gift for her; she made excuses and said she couldn't meet with him, so he arranged to, and did, drop it off in some bushes by Children's Hospital in Fresno. It was jewelry, but no one knows WHICH jewelry.
Det. Brocchini, w/ permission, took down the contents of Scott's cellphone log.
Laci's cell was in her vehicle, and was found to have a msg from Scott on it, in which he said he was on his way back from fishing, and told her he couldn't pick up the gift basket for Amy.
There was also a msg from Scott to Laci on the home phone.

Could the case be dismissed on the basis of the video surveillance? WHY? I hope Geragos is just trying to diddle his way into his million and that there is no way the case can be dismissed.
We would all tear our hair out if Scaughty walked free.

If he shot her, and we're trying to figure out where, don't forget he travelled about 90 miles, probably in the dead of night, the night of the 23-24. She could have been unconscious, knocked out, or even asleep, and he could have shot her anywhere along the country roads, perhaps even outside the vehicle. Although if he did that, it is amazing that they didn't find any trace of blood in the truck. Well, he DID later wash out the truck bed with gasoline...

Wowee-wow! Already read the fax!!??
To: Devil_Anse
I just heard that "sources say" that the jewelry was costume jewelry, not Laci's. (CTV)

Re widower comment -- IF Scott were innocent, why in heck would he say that? Since he is NOT, I believe, then all he was really saying to Amber is "The check is in the mail."

I just got back online so haven't had time to read all the postings. I don't know if this was reported or not, but just heard on radio news one of the first officers found a 22 caliber simi-automatic handgun in Scotts pickup.

I wish I could hear Gloria Gomez. She's on top of this case.
To: Yaelle
Court TV:
Guy reporter just confirmed (in addition to some other details we had established) that the testimony today was that Scott Peterson did ask if they were using cadaver dogs, which the officer (of course) thought was suspicious.
Gal reporter (not Beth K.) now saying how Scott told Amber he was a widow and "this would be his first Christmas without his wife".
Hmmmmmmmm
To: Devil_Anse
You are right -- he could have drugged her and shot her anywhere.
Did he REALLY clean out the bed of the truck with GASOLINE? How often does anyone do THAT??

He said he "just found out" about that. He'll claim they violated discovery rules. If the tapes have anything EXCULPATORY on them, he'll claim they violated the Brady case, which says they must disclose exculpatory evidence in their possession to the defense.
I heard that the prosecution said that they did too give him those tapes.
