Oh, goody, now they can be questioned by some of our military women to insure that they are treated sensitively enough.

US troops in Iraq have captured two former Iraqi army generals...Military sources said the pair are believed to have financed and organised anti-coalition fighters... they are suspected of playing a key role into anti-coalition violence in and around the flashpoint town, a bastion of supporters of ousted Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein. Why are they called former Generals in the first line, but then later identified as leading the ongoing resistance?
When Charles De Gaulle, was in exhile from France was he ever referred to as the "former French General"?
Would it not be more honest to describe them as "two Generals of the Saddam led resistance group ....."
But then we are talking of the BBC.

Cool. These might be key guys.

US troops in Iraq have captured two former Iraqi army generals in the town of FallujaIt's a good thing our soldiers are professionals. These Generals are fortunate they were captured by the 82nd. These guys have suffered at the hands of men like this, and I'm sure it took every ounce of control they had not to beat these Generals like the DOGS they are!!

Exactly my thoughts. If these generals have a clue where Saddam is hiding or could provide info to thwart attacks on our troops, let Lt. Col. West handle the interrogation.Nah, let some Iraqis whose family members are rotting in some mass grave somewhere have a chat with these fellas. We don't have to be involved, just listening.
