I just don't understand why she wouldn't see (and thank) Al-Rehaief when he went to her town to see her recently.

She is humble. I pray her life returns to normal and those terrible forgotten memories never crop up on her.

The liberals who complained about the stories surrounding her rescue should feel the size of ants when the book comes out. So she didnt go down in a blaze of glory...I view her as a great American and although many may disagree with her presense in Iraq, they cant deny her patriotism.

Did anyone honestly think otherwise? Last war they raped Red female doctors they captured among other things... Iraq was a regime that had DOGS trained to rape, both male and female human beings as torture and humiliation... you really thought they didn't torture and rape any POW's this time around?

A 20-year-old from the hollers of West Virginia, Lynch knew what could happen to her if she fell into Iraqi hands. A female pilot captured in the Persian Gulf War had been raped.

"Everyone knew what Saddam's soldiers did to women captives," Bragg wrote. "In (Lynch's) worst nightmares, she stood alone in that desert as the trucks of her own army pulled away."

Female troops = female POWs = raped American women.

Can this experiment in Clintonism end, yet?

Whats with all the M-16's jamming? I've carried a few and fired them in a variety of adverse conditions and have never had this problem. Lousy weapons maintenence, not necesarily by the individual, is what I suspect. Or lousy magazines.

Jessica Lynch," he said, "we're United States soldiers and we're here to protect you and take you home."

"I'm an American soldier, too," Lynch replied.

The scars on Lynch's battered body and the medical records indicate she was anally raped, and "fill in the blanks of what Jessi lived through on the morning of March 23, 2003," Bragg wrote.

"The records do not tell whether her captors assaulted her almost lifeless, broken body after she was lifted from the wreckage, or if they assaulted her and then broke her bones into splinters until she was almost dead."

Does anybody think that the scumbag Democrats and the screeching feminists and the Clintonites will back off from their agenda of feminizing the military and placing women in combat positions? Nahhh....

"Everyone knew what Saddam's soldiers did to women captives," Bragg wrote.

The New York Daily News says:   "Jessica Lynch was brutally raped by her Iraqi captors. [Also] A female pilot captured in the Persian Gulf War had been raped.."

It's time to take the blinders off and be crystal clear about what really has been happening. The Iraqi's rape everyone they capture, male and female alike. Every single captured American soldier during the Persian Gulf War was raped. They make no distinction as to sex of the victim or the orifice orifice used.

It is a dangerous thing to demonize your enemy and paint them as some kind of degenerate sub-human animal. However, when your enemy chooses to paint themselves with that brush, then that is another matter altogether and then no rational person can afford to pretend that they are something other than what they've shown us they are.

Lynch's painful recovery from an ordeal that left her barely able to ... control her bowels is vividly described.

Sick bastards. These are the type of people we're fighting. It makes me ill to think that our own government is going to punish Col. West for his effective interrogation of an Iraqi spy.

What is that suppose to mean?

Come to think about it .. there are a few other sentences that do not make sense

So much for all those here over the last few months that were saying she got "excellent care" by the Iraqis. Amazing they could give the Iraqis that much credit without knowing the facts. But then we know why they did it, their petty agendas mean more to them than how our POWs were treated. Anyone with half a brain automatically knew that our POWs were tortured and executed.
