IT'S SO PATHETICALLY BAD THAT IT'S HYSTERICALLY FUNNY

Can't wait to watch it flop on Showtime, assuming it even airs. Amazing that CBS found sponsors for it. Maybe they gave them a discount.

Has anyone heard how "K Street", the Clooney?Carvell?Matlin show is doing?
I keep hoping to hear it has been cancelled due to low ratings.

Showtime is pay cable, a direct competitor to HBO but in far, far fewer homes. There won't be any advertisers. But if it airs, it WILL be reviewed, and get just the sort of overwhelming "worst. miniseries. EVER." revulsion that Buckman predicts above.

Badly. It did all right the first week and then ratings collapsed. Since it's on HBO, it's not going to be cancelled, but whenever the final episode airs (if it hasn't already; I never watched it after the first episode myself) it's not going to be renewed.

Sorry, I was referring to the sponsors CBS had already lined up for itself (Hallmark and Chevrolet?) before the lateral pass to Showtime.

I suspect it will be re-worked by much more skillful propagandists by air time, but maybe I'm wrong and CBS is even dumber than I think.

Too little too late. Their motivation has finally been revealed. They could honor Reagan at this point, and most Americans would still want to boycott their sponsers.

Seiskel and Eibert [sic and sic] will love it. But so what? Too little too late!

I think Siskel is dead, but being a rat, it probably wouldn't stop him from reviewing it and then voting for Hillary in 2004...

Siskel is dead. He was replaced by leftist Richard Roeper, who is a good movie reviewer, but he writes articles that sound lile Al Franken.

CBS is owned by ViaCom; so is Showtime. Our outrage was mis-aimed.

CBS dumps it? No matter. Showtime runs it, and it flops? No biggie. Michael Moore will buy the rights, and play it at every awards show in Hollywood. The Left will make sure of it.

After seeing a few photos of James Brolin in Reagan make-up the past couple of days, I have to admit I almost wish it could have aired. You can tell by looking at Brolin that they spent about $29.95 on the entire project. Of course, an actor of Brolin's credentials and talen don't come cheap. (/sarcasm) BTW, has he done anything since the Marcus Welby series?

"There won't be any advertisers."

I think that explains the Showtime shift. I am assuming this was only switched because the pressure was working on advertisers. I'm guessing especially threatening to boycott Hallmark during the holiday season.

I can only guess that having large numbers of Christians not buying Christmas cards from you is NOT part of Hallmark's business plan.

If that is the case then the sponsor by default would be CBS......Hmm Equal time?

Bill O'Reilly saw the same preview and his description of it was "cartoonish".
