This is also the place to post contact information, prayers and general discussion.

If you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Many original links become corrupt over time and we want to be able to access the information at will.

I know we're all getting tired, but we have to hang in there. This isn't just Terri's fight anymore. It is our fight too. To everyone who has worked tirelessly to gather information, write letters, make phone calls, spend time in prayer, be at the vigil supporting Terri's family and all the many other offerings you have given for this effort, thank you and may the Lord richly bless you.

What? MS threatened a doctor knowing that the law had passed - perhaps the doctor did not...but MS sure did....seems to be this should be actionable and should be used in the case against MS remaining her GUARDIAN! This is explosive!

I would imagine the doctors were aware, since that was the hospital she was normally transferred to. One of Michael's lawyers faxed a letter to almost every lawyer in the county threatening to sue. I'll look for an article.

I don't think we will be seeing too much of the trolls from here on in if the Guardianship is actually changed. I still think at least a couple of them were the perps in this case.
They will be too buisy looking for countries without extradition treaties with the United States and other methods of CTA to troll Free Republic any more. ;c)

I know that The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast owes the Federal Government approx. 15 million dollars in fraudulently obtained Medicare payments, and they evidently owe Aetna money too...

Personally I DON'T think this FReep is over even if we save Terri. It should not be over until that corrupeth chamber of horrors Ho$pice of the Florida $uncoa$t is SHUT DOWN or put under NEW MANAGEMENT more respectful of the terminally ill and disabled, and Michael Shiavo and George Felos are FReeped into obscurity or a prison cell.

I'm glad you caught me not being clear enough, and I'm sorry I wasn't clear enough. I was trying to convey the idea that this was just one victory in a long term fight - I didn't do that very well.

No, I don't think this is over. What we're up against is much larger than just Terri's situation. It's nationwide... worldwide. It's a longterm spiritual battle that will probably have more twists and turns than we can imagine, and will probably get worse before it gets better. I'll still be jubilant over each small miracle that pushes back the Death Culture, though.

OK, that's where I stand on it. Hope that cleared things up a bit.

More than one doctor at Morton Plant Hospital refused to START THE IV that Monday night and more than one doctor refused to re-insert the feeding tube on Tuesday. Two doctors under threat of malpractice and battery suits by Attorney Felos STARTED THE IV OR RE-INSERTED THE TUBE.

I have no names. They are confidential because only Michael Schiavo and Atty Felos have had ACCESS TO TERRI'S MEDICAL RECORDS. This was all discussed in a Monday evening press conference held by Terri's attorney Pat Anderson. Terri arrived at MPH around 6:00 pm. THE IV WASN'T STARTED UNTIL 9:30 pm.

It was sickening awaiting the medical community to do the right and moral thing. Further, Terri hasn't seen her REAL DOCTORS for years. They haven't been allowed per Court Order.

I've read some of the earlier filings for the Schindlers and they don't compare with this last one. The only way I can imagine him not 'seeing' it now is because it wasn't in braille.

What I heard was,MS"s attorney had contacted the hospital and treatened to sue. A fellow in D.C. called them and said federal funding would be removed from the hospital if the feeding tube wasn't replaced.

If their initial argument wasn't framed in a way that would make the law applicable, then I can see this instance.

Regarding everyone that Terri has had contact with, don't flame , ok, but to me the doctors at the hospital at least a little understandable. I don't like it that there was a delay. It wasn't right but this was dropped in their lap. Some may have not even known what was going on until she showed up in the ER and then they start getting threats from both sides. They had to figure out what to do. I'm just glad the doctors decided to do the right thing.
