[history]
The chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee said Tuesday he spoke too hastily when he said the White House would provide his panel with the documents and interviews it is seeking for its inquiry on prewar intelligence on Iraq.
But the chairman, Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., said he is optimistic that the committee will get everything it wants.

We always knew that Dems were more concerned about their political careers than the lives (and deaths) of American servicemen.
We always knew that Dems were more concerned about their political careers than the future of our nation.
Now that it's in writing - in their own hand, I hope more of the citizens of this nation realize they're being used.
Bastards.

Just shows how slow they react and hold off reporting anything negative when the dems are involved. Imagine if this were a right wing memo?

Notice how the memo isn't even the main focus of the article. It has more to do with Roberts being 'duped' by the WH.

Oh wouldn't it be fun if Hannity would name the memo leaker but as he said on his radio show yesterday he and his coworker (Sweet Baby James, was it?) will take the secret to the grave.

Typical.

I had to go back and check the date of this article. Let me get this straight, Roberts said all this (talk of subpoenas, etc.) AFTER Hannity disclosed the memo?
Earth to Roberts...hello, wake up. Don't you see what is going on here? The White House gets it!

Permit me one moment of grousing about the past actions of Republican leaders:
If they had lifted one little finger to help, we could have knocked off John D. Rockefeller IV last year.
But they didn't.
They wouldn't contribute one thin dime.
So they're stuck with the puke.

So it seems these "lying liberal" are really concerned about exactly what President Bush knows. Maybe President Bush has the "goods" on them and they are trying to flush it out. They obviously don't know what they are up against and they know it.
They have been complaining about "secrecy" from the Bush Administration. Looks like they are really, really, worried about what is known that they don't know.
They also know that they stand a better chance of keeping "hidden" what they don't know if they can get an "independent counsel or commission" to investigate a so-called "motive" for the war.
Their boy "Joe Wilson" flopped on stopping a war with phony intel, and getting a so-called "Independent" counsel.
Looks like the lying liberals have "motives" of their own to take back power and get a look see at the real "INTEL".
To: Brian S
Durbin was on the Senate floor this am, saying he had never seen/read the memo, but it did reflect the 'frustration' of the 'committee' with the WH.

This memo needs to be archived here where we can find it when they start this attack next year. You know that the sheeple will forget all about it by then. Especially since the Pubbies won't do anything about it or even condemn it strongly enough to make a lasting impression.

Oh, and notice how the dems turn the tables so easily. This memo must have been obtained illegally. They will hunt out the whistle blower and hang him from the highest tree for the whole world to see and the story will be about the GOP "Operative" who obtained a document from the SIC illegally. You watch.

Why should Hannity name his source? We wouldn't know about this sedition without the leak and Hannity wouldn't get any more information
