Sean Hannity has a scoop on dem party corruption (Vanity)
Sean Hannity radio show ^ | 11/04/03 | Unknown Democrat (via Sean Hannity)

Posted on 11/04/2003 1:27:18 PM PST by jocon307

Is anyone listening to Hannity? He just read a memo from a dem party staffer (i think) on the select committe on intelligence (or some such), which, as he describes it, shows the the dem committe members are pre-planning a political assault on the pres. and care nothing for our security, which is their job.

He's acting like this is the hottest scoop since I don't know what, I'm at work so I'm only 1/2 listening, plus he read the whole thing which seemed to be a least 2 pages long, a little tough to follow being in beaurocrat-speak.

Is this really important? And will this story grow legs?

Republicans need to wake up and get a pair!

You mean, the GOP - Gelded Old Pansies. Frist and Hatch can't get judicial nominees to the floor. Why should Roberts or Frist be capable of sending this memo matter to the Ethics Committee?

Highlights of Memo from Dems to Dems at Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

Has nothing to do with Intelligence or Security. Politics only.

*Pull the public along as far as possible when revealing ‘questionable ‘ acts by Admin.
*Good ole Chairman Roberts has agreed to “investigate” admin officials, including Rummy, Wolfowitz, etc. We can string this out.
*We are going to attack the Prez—no matter what the results. We have already compiled all Admin statements on Iraq. We will reopen the issue of independent investigation.
*We can pull the trigger on Independent investigation anytime, but best time will be next year.
*We will generate news coverage whenever the Pubs do not want to investigate an issue.
*We will act independently every time the Pubs foot drag or resist an area we want to investigate.
*Our role is to reveal Admin lies about need for preemptive war in Iraq.

CONCLUSION: Could it be that the Dems on Senate Intelligence Committee are more interested in knifing the President than they are in national Security?

I sure wish Rush was around for this! I hope Sean does not give an inch on this. Roberts makes me sick right now!

David Asman made mincemeat out of Rockefeller. Used Rockefeller's own words against him.

You folks attacking Roberts, just WHAT THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT HIM TO SAY ON A NATIONAL TALK SHOW, 5 MINUTES AFTER GETTING THIS INFORMATION?

Senators dont become Senators by spouting off publicly with their plans and feelings. When they have ALL the information, they will decide as a group, how to respond to it. Anyone who thinks that Roberts is going to be stupid enough to express outrage at this stage is a nut.

THINK PEOPLE!

Just think of one name:
Senator Graham (D-Florida)

Sean is saying that no-one will EVER guess who gave him the memo, but the source is reliable and connected to the committee.

Most certainly. If Clinton can sell our missile technology to Red China, they can make sure we lose this war against terrorism just as easy. "It's the election, stupid."

Sean just said the memo was leaked to him by a member of the Select Committee on Intelligence, and "a most, most, most reliable source."

(Is it just me, or is Sean hinting that his source is a RAT Senator?)

Said he was "stunned," and that "this is very serious." ....

Sean asks for all e-mails and computers to be locked and all committee members to be interviewed ASAP. Roberts: "We'll have to make a thorough check on this...I've got to check with Senator Rockefeller first."

Bet there are a lot of RATS firing emails back and forth now. I would find out if Rockefeller is the author (Hannity just mentioned that) and it was sent to hitlery..

Maybe DeWine? The dems accidentally confused him with on of their own. < /sarcasm>

"Could it be that there is some kind of info that is damaging to the President or are they making plans for potential info down the road."

The latter. This to me is the most damning - "We don't know what we will find but our prospects for getting the access we seek is far greater when we have the backing of the majority. [We can verbally mention some of the intriguing leads we are pursuing.]

Anyone who thinks that Roberts is going to be stupid enough to express outrage at this stage is a nut.

Even the Dems know Roberts is stupid. They essentially say as much in their own memo:

"The fact that the chairman supports our investigations into these offices and cosigns our requests for information is helpful and potentially crucial."

Gee, the REPUBLICAN Chairman is actively supporting DEMOCRAT investigations into the REPUBLICAN Adminstration. That is not stupid?

Sure sounds like it, don't it? Sean now says this could see a sitting senator RESIGN.

I would bet money that Evan Bayh's office gave Sean the memo. He is a Democrat, but he has integrity that the others dont.
