"Since that time, some hard line militants and students gather in front of the former US Embassy, every year, in Tehran to chant against the USA and its interests."
We know the regime stages this every year.
It's an organized, sanctioned event.

The anniversary of the day the Communist/Socialist-Internationalist traitor, Sayed Jimmah KKKarrtah, started World War Four.
[And he hadn't gotten to giving America's Canal to his predatory Peking-based psychopathologically-hesperophobic pals, yet]

Finally, The hostages released right after the President Reagan took office in 1980. Um, I think Reagan took office in 1981.
Thanks for the post, though.

I cannot believe it has been
24 years! I remember driving to college and some of the students were holding a large "Honk if you think Iran sucks" sign.
Can't believe it's almost been a quarter of a century.

Also, by coincidence
1980 Ronald Reagan (R) beats President Jimmy Carter (Dim) by a landslide!!!

Iran is still on the short list. It was an act of war and remains unresolved.

I read one of the former hostages book about his ordeal. I can't recall his name, perhaps someone else will. I think it was Terry something. Anyway, it was a fascinating and horrific tale of the capture and time they spent as prisoners.
Never forget!
