...and CBS is in big, big trouble. Coming up next for those interested. Should be interesting since O'Reilly has taken a moderate position until viewing the movie.

I defer to your seniority. :o)

Damn nicely put.
Makes me want to ask a liberal if they are living in fear of a soviet missle landing on their town. "Oh... you aren't??? Why not?".

"...Ronald Reagan, when he was President of the Screen Actors Guild negotiated the residuals that all the actors get today. He refused to accept the residuals himself because he believed it was a conflict of interest." I wonder if Martin Sheen and Ed Asner ever think about that...NOT!
Not one shred of decency or good conscience between the two of them.

I wonder if CBS has any idea what they're in for if this airs...Oh, I think they're beginning to... Andy Rooney just said on Larry King's program that he, Rooney, wouldn't be surprised if CBS shelves the miniseries.

The left is self destructing. That is very true, especially when you almost never see the same type of portrayals of JFK, Clinton, or Carter, whose administrations are dwarfed in comparison to Reagan's achievements. They give themselves and their meanness away.
To: Ramius
Thanks Ramius. But didn't you know that liberals only care about other people, not themselves? HA! :-)

Great rant.
I was in my twenties with two little ones, had a carpentry crew when interest rates hit those highs. I'll never forget the real worst economy of the last fifty years. Never.
The man was a Godsend to this country and they dare to take their spiteful, twisted views of him and call it history.
I'm biding my time, but sometime this week I'm going to call some sponsors and my local CBS affiliate manager and have a chat.
It won't be pretty.

Wonderful post. Reagan was the first president I voted for. I was home from school early the day he was shot and watched the whole thing on TV. I was bawling like a baby waiting to hear that he was okay.
He gave my generation hope. That was something new to us. We could be proud again to be Americans.

I'm not ashamed to say that I feel much the same way abut Ronald Reagan. I grew up, an army brat, in the malaise of Carter, with a dismal future ahead of me, after a two day wait in a gasoline line.
I thank God for President Reagan. I know he wasn't a perfect guy, but he reminded us that WE were, and are, what was great and strong about America. His faith in us, chokes me up today.
Ronald Reagan and his unbeatable spirit were the bridge to the twenty-first century.

Media tramp Ratner said that?
Ratner knows full well that CBS's "dialogue" is in essence "propaganda".
"Lies and fabricated information designed to sway the opinions of people in a desired direction. Specifically designed for the dumb, poorly-educated majority of the targeted population."
Although, even the alleged "educated" are susceptible to propaganda. I offer as evidence the professorial class of educated idiots.

Thanks GWfan. You summed it up perfectly in just a few words...
"He gave my generation hope. That was something new to us. We could be proud again to be Americans."
So profound. So true. Well done. God Bless President Reagan.

Amen my man! Great rant! All of us on Free Republic need to step up our commitment in exposing this evil wickedly depraved smear campaign on the greatest president of the 20th Century. Not even that "do nothing, ignorant commie coddlin Jimmy Carter or any other President (well minus Clinton maybe) should be smeared in such a foul and wicked manner as currently being attempted by CBS.
Let's win one more time for the Gipper!
Ya'll know he would be believing in us!
