[history]
President Vicente Fox said Monday that Mexico wanted work visas, legalization and family reunification for undocumented migrants, but stopped short of calling for U.S. citizenship for them.
Speaking to reporters on the eve of his Nov. 4-6 visit to Texas, New Mexico and Arizona, Fox said immigration issues will be on the agenda of his visit, but that trade and economic issues will also be discussed.

"Asked when he thought immigration reform could be realized, Fox said "I don't think we should build expectations beyond reality." Reality is buy MORE ammo.
"We've just come through months in which there wasn't any progress at all."
Now THAT would be real progress. At 2-3 million mexican criminals doing the Southern Border Bounce per year, if we could block the boarder for one year, all south-o-the-boarder towns would colapse under the strain.

And here's another thought: I wonder if Mexico offers drivers licenses to its own illegal immigrants or allows them to stay, work, steal, etc.
To: Brian S
I am totally for the family reunification. It should all happen on the "Mexican side" of the boarder "only" though.

when we have to demand, we demand;
----------------------
On what basis do you think I and others here should submit to your demands other than we are saddled with a weakling president.

He may have something on some of our congresscrooks, etc.; but I assure you, we have a zillion more things on Fox. He is also a big time crook. If we wanted to, we could bring him down in a nanosecond.
To: Dolphy
He wants a flow of people? No problemo, senor. Just flow 'em all the hell BACK across the border.
I didn't used to care so much about this. Now I'm to the point where I think they need to be rounded up and deported back to their countries of origin en masse, and that the Constitution needs to be amended to NOT make a child born on US soil an automatic citizen unless one of his/her parents is a citizen. And to hell with what it may or may not do to the economy. It's evolved into a national security issue more than an economic issue.

My spanish is rusty. Repetan: "Mi español está el hierro oxidado."
If W caves into ANY of Fox's demands, I'm just going to start calling him George W. Skunk for now on.

"undocumented migrants." Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr They are ILLEGAL ALIENS and they are tearing the fabric of our society, our culture and our nation apart. If the TRAITOR George W. Bush (who panders to illegals and murderous Muslims but seems to care nothing about the rightful citizens of this country) doesn't do something about this problem and soon, we won't have a country left and I'll have moved to Greenland or someplace equally remote.
I don't know who is more ridiculous, you or Vicente Fox. Go join Al Qaeda.

You might try Russia or Iraq. At least they have the flat tax!

Please don't worry. It was good enough for me. I just wanted to make it GOOD AND CLEAR in case there was some misunderstanding from others.

President Vicente Fox said Monday that Mexico wanted work visas, legalization and family reunification for undocumented migrants, but stopped short of calling for U.S. citizenship for them. Let's talk internment, deportation, shoot on sight at the border and a nuclear irridated buffer region .....

He must have something on everyone in Congress I thought the very same thing after I posted. I don't know that I can name one sane voice on this whole issue.

I see no problem with that. Let the illegals reunify with their families back in Mexico. Don't let the door..............
