I am so ignorant! What exactly is mortar fire? Guns, bombs, missiles?
To: Mo1

Prayers for our troops. Time to take the offensive and wipe out the terrorist scum once and for all.

What can you do? It's an entire country with millions of people. Fixing it is going to tick off the relatively few nutjobs. Finding and killing as many as possible is the only thing that helps, but I dunno what can prevent these things from happening altogether.

That would be a big mistake

Arnott/MSNBC: Can't solidly determine direction, due to echoes off of taller buildings.

Mortars are tubes you drop a charge into and it flys to its target.....you shot it pretty much straight up and toward a chosen target.

Sadr city is anti-Saddam, true, but definitely NOT pro-U.S.
Previously known as Saddam City... you should check out who this Sadr guy is and why he is in the position to have the neighborhood named after him.

MSNBC switched to the Peterson case Are you serious? Unbelieveble. I really wish they'd leave that crap for Court TV and stick with the news.
To: The Dude Abides
Saddam thought it was a damn funny joke to make these Shias live in Saddam City-- like Gray Davis changing the name of Orange County to Gray Davis County.
