it was likely some members of saudi royal family who did that stock shorting, perhaps amongst them were those who died mysteriously after 9-11, that's why you won't hear much about that.

I'd like to know if they are funnelling their loot out of SA as we speak--in light of AQ threat

They may very well be Islamic wanabees who don't have the balls to go meet their virgins. But as I indicated in a post yesterday, Jean Dixon used to make annual predictions every year in one of the tabloids in a way that was hard to be wrong like, "significant natural disaster will strike western region" or "world political leader gets caught in a major scandal." I'm sure that I could imagine threats like EOM and Daleel that have just enough detail to sound legitimate, but are general enough to support a host of possibilities, and then when the next attack happens -- and it will -- I can say, "see, I told you so."

I have read in the last few weeks (fried brain, so info is FWIW) that a lot of SA royals were having their families move into European quarters (mostly Swiss, I believe) which was considered unusual this time of year, and there was mention of movement of funds. This was in an article on FR a little while ago.
I read lots, don't post much on this thread as I know nothing. Just have a little retention of what I read.

Daleel and EOM, may or may not be the real terrorists that we are looking for.
Another way that they communicate is by using small or abandoned groups at Yahoo Groups.
Last spring, in a doll group that is only used once or twice a year to send a notice of new designs by the owner, all of a sudden a 'Muslim' pep talk email came through, then a couple more.
Then came the one with the real message, almost in plain language.
I phoned the FBI in Phoenix, got an agent with a bad hangover on a Sunday morning (early), had a hell of a time explaining to him that I had a terrorist message from a Doll collectors group.
Finally, I outshout him and read part of it to him, all of a sudden he was very interested in the message and I forwarded it to him.
The doll group was not involved.
It works like this: go to groups.yahoo.com, open the crafts groups link on the home page (or maybe any set of groups).
The messages will be in the groups that have public archives. When the messages are in the public archives, the person waiting for the message will only need to go and read it, and in this way there is no way to trace the readers.
The thought has crossed my mind that the porn emails are to test the group, if there is no response to the porn the terrorist messages are safe. Many of the porn messages do not go to a real site. Yes, in the beginning I thought they meant a new craft picture, and still hear the group members complaining that they had gone to a bad link, or were bombarded with pop ups.
The herb groups were constantly being sent "You will love being a Muslim" messages. I have dropped those and don't know that I could ever find them again.
So this is my opinion, the messages are not going to be where you think they are.
I was amazed at how many groups are listed under the different terrorist/Muslim section, they also show up on the craft, doll, sewing lists. In english and arabic (I think, as I don't read any languages.)

I knew I had read that somewhere and have thought recently that was a suspicious move, especially the funds to Switzerland.

Yup, I remember reading it not too long ago. The article was in reference to the recent bombings in Saudi Arabia as well as the threats to it from AQ and like groups.

the US needs to be at CODE RED for the next approximately 25 days. So why do you think that we are not at CODE RED? Why would our government if they thought that we were/are under a nuclear terrorist attack at least leave the alert at orange.
Will this be another what did they know and when did they know it.
I am asking you because your post comes across so positive, so in the know, sooooooooooooo alarming.

EOM and Daleel and their friends are probably not 'real terrorists' but they do seem to know that something big is up. They are probably not in the chain of command nor real operatives, but rather Islamist 'good ol boys' who hear the whispered plans of al Qaeda from clerics and couriers. Agreed. I think this is indeed the most likely explanation. I doubt that "real" terrorists would spend their time posting on an inconspicuous message board.
I read somewhere that AQ used much more subtle, "old fashioned" ways to communicate. One example was that they would put a bumper sticker on a telephone pole in a major city as a signal. No Koranic verses. Nothing. But the operatives knew to look for that bumper sticker.
Now, if they are doing THAT, I doubt they would risk capture by 'net postings. Just IMHO.

That video clip it was based upon must have been deemed by the feds too hot, too inflamatory for public consumption in this country...maybe the media was ordered(an offer they couldn't refuse?) not to touch it.
