A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

We've seen these warnings on other groups, but this was 16 days ago, and stopping many flights have made them look like horse's arses, for now. Most likely because of that they may get more desperate?

This brings up another issue I was discussing with DC. A very important issue of contingency meetup, should we find ourselves in the most dire straits.
When we were going through Clinton here, we used to say, the first state to seceed would be Texas. I use to call it "The FREE REPUBLIC of Texas". We all tried to find a focal point to meet if necessary, we always expected Clinton to look for an excuse to declare martial law.
This leads me to my exchange with DC.
DC suggested if we go to code red freepers need to wear something...even a safety pinned piece of paper with FR and our freeper names.
I agree because if we all wind up somewhere to be decided we need to band together. Kinda like in The Stand. For what better people to be with right?
DC went on to say "What would the FR response be to a shut down of the net and communication and the possible prelude to a necessary martial law situation in these areas.?"
I wanted to bring this to all of you? We do need our own contingency plan beyond our immediate geography and families, it would be vital. So her and I would like serious suggestions what city/state/place is best? And to add to our survival plans of what do we use as a Freeper ID?

Two Passengers Stopped Before Boarding Flight to Columbus by WBNS 10TV Staff Report
The Transportation Security Administration held two airplane passengers in Philadelphia for questioning as they were about to board a flight bound for Columbus.
But there are different versions as to exactly why and how long the two men were held.
According to Philadelphia television station KYW, a CBS affiliate, the pair flew from London Gatwick Aiport on Saturday aboard US Air flight 99. When one of the men left a bag unattended at Philadelphia International, TSA agents searched it. KYW reported Monday night that agents found various photographs of Columbus in the piece of luggage, along with a journal written in a mixture of English and Arabic. KYW says that sources from the TSA told them the content of the journal suggested the possibility of "ill will" expressed in the writings.
10 Investigates reporter Roger McCoy talked to a spokesman with U.S. Airways late Monday night. David Castelbetter says the two men were detained by Philadelphia airport police and the Transportation Security Administration in because of security concerns after they got off their London flight. The FBI was called in and the two men were questioned.
James Turgel, an FBI spokesman told 10TV that after the men were questioned for about 90 minutes, they were allowed to go on their way.
According to Turgel, they did not board their connecting USAir flight to Columbus. As a precaution, passengers aboard that Columbus flight were delayed for about 45 minutes while all the flight's luggage was re-screened. Nothing suspicious was found. And the FBI in Ohio said the two men were a non-threat.
But the KYW report conflicts with the Ohio FBI office version of events. The Philly station's story said the two men were questioned by the FBI for 15 hours, eventually released at 5:30 a.m. Sunday. The TV station reported that the two men then flew to Columbus. It said its sources with TSA report that the FBI is keeping the two men under surveillance here in Ohio.
However, the FBI told 10TV that the two men did not appear to be any sort of threat, and that they were not put under surveillance of any kind. That contradicts the Philadelphia story.
