Gee, when these two terrorists get out in 15 & 20 years from now (if not sooner for good behavior) will they have been rehabilitated? Fat Chance.

Actually, it might. I'm not sure. I do know Ibm is a religious title. I don't know if it is an acronym for something else.

From Memri.org's new ticker across the bottom of the screen. The CAPS are theirs, not mine. I thought this was interesting.

AN EDITORIAL IN THE SAUDI GAZETTE CRITICIZED THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT FOR NEVER HAVING OFFERED A REWARD FOR THE CAPTURE OF OSAMA BIN LADEN, AND CALLED ON IT TO OFFER A REWARD OF $50 MILLION, IN ADDITION TO THE AMERICAN REWARD CURRENTLY OFFERED, SAYING THAT BIN LADEN 'HAS OPENLY THREATENED OUR COUNTRY, OUR SECURITY, AND OUR PROSPERITY FOR YEARS.' (SAUDI GAZETTE, 1/15/04)

Regardless as to whether EOM is a prankster or an Al Queda mule....the penalties will be the same. Cyber terrorism is treated as seriously as physical acts of terrorism.

Have you seen the video of the execution (by grenade) of two Iraqis by some of Saddam's thugs?

If not, here is the link to it:

Execution Video

It's just more evidence of how sick that regime was. And lest we forget, terrorists would do this to us if they could.

What is this substance?
Joy Junction's office staff opening up two large envelopes in Friday's mail were shocked at what they found. Both packages had no return address. One contained a sawdust type substance with a cryptic note that read "Here are some gardening supplies, mulch for a garden or flower bed etc."

The other contained two pieces of wood and a note that read, "Here are two pieces of redwood, something you might use for labeling in a line of vegetables in the garden."

Shelter officials immediately called the FBI and were told to call the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Dept.

Joy Junction Director Jeremy Reynalds' Administrative Assistant Lori Archibeque was one of those who opened the package. She said, " The BCSO came out. The lady who came contacted the main office who told her to call the FBI and Postal Inspector. She tried the Post Office said they won't come out because there was no return address (imagine my suprise) and no threatening note. The FBI said they wouldn't come out and to tell us to dispose of it or call the fire department to do it."

Reynalds said, "I am absolutely flabbergasted. In this terror filled society in which we live, we call the authorities and they tell us to THROW AWAY something to which two of my employees have been exposed because they opened what they believed to be a routine package for Joy Junction. What about if these two individuals who were exposed happen to get sick? It would surely be prudent to know what they have beene xposed to, right? We will NOT be throwing it away and the responses we've been given today make me wonder about the effectiveness of our terror watch–at least here in Albuquerque."

Reynalds said his concern was in no way directed toward the BCSO, who did what they could.

Reynalds said he also found it odd that with two packages that were so heavy and had to be stamped by postal service staff that the USPS did not require a return address. "That's quite disconcerting," he said.

We're turning it over to the authorities. With all the scares that have been occurring in the mail in the last year or so, we felt that was the best thing to do."

In addition, Reynalds said, "We deal with a wide variety of people and some of those with the more serious issues are not the homeless. After taking care of the delightful Cuban couple whom we were privileged to help for a number of months, I got a call from a guy who said, ‘Why are you helping THOSE people?' He said Cubans belonged in Cuba. This man sounded far from reasonable, and who knows if someone like him would send a dangerous package."

I know there is stuff in here someone wanted translated but I'm sorry, I cannot watch an execution video. I just can't. I don't have the stomach for it. It must be a girl thing or something.

Well fortunately, all you see of the "execution" is dust flying in the air, because when the explosions happen, the dust obscures anything gruesome.

Ewwwww... no, I had not seen that one. So awful. No words are sufficient, and no punishment is too severe for these people.

I send out a lot of mail with my business. I can tell you, mailing items other than first class mail letters requires me to jump through quite a few more hoops since the anthrax mailings. I have to tell the postal workers what I'm mailing and I have to personally bring the items to the post office vs. the home pick up I use to have.

I also have to have a return address on the items.

re post no. 11,188 and post no 11, 191

I don't know about that.
I believe you are correct, but I'm not sure.

Any item mailed to me at home that has
been sent to me UNSOLICITED from foreign
countries or here in the USA is immediately
dumped without opening. And the following
UNSOLICITED items which may catch my attention
but still fall in the UNSOLICITED category and they
get dumped too for being UNSOLICITED and:

1. No return address.
2. Return address is in pen or pencil.
3. Bulky or odd shaped packages.
4. Anything the dog sniffs too long at or barks at.

Yep. That's the way it works now.

AND...we wash our hands after sorting the mail.

===
Of course, in Mr. Reynalds' situation, he runs a charity-homeless shelter so in his case his mail priorities are different than mine.

Additionally, Royer said he was committed to helping terrorists gain entry to the camp after a meeting on Sept. 16, 2001.

It's important to note that Randall Royer was employed by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) at the same time he was "committed to helping terrorists."

Harassment intrudes on chat sites
By Mike Snider, USA TODAY
09/18/2001 - Updated 07:08 PM ET

[snip]

"The problem is not just on AOL. Physical vandalism and assaults have been reported, and harassment is increasing across the Internet. The situation is "outrageous," says [Randall] Ismail Royer of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). "It's just creating a very tense and angry atmosphere, adding to the general atmosphere of paranoia and fear that Muslims are feeling."
