I'm in full agreement.

There is nothing even slightly amusing about this incident.

If this woman had a car bomb, our beloved GWB might be dead or seriously injured.

More and more prayers are needed for the health and safety of President Bush and his family.

This car got nowhere near the President and the driver was immediately apprehended. It didn't really get through security. If anything the Secret Service has trended toward being heavy handed ever since the attempt on Reagan.

You might try right-clicking on it, then click on "open" in the menu that (may) pop up. Probably won't work, but it's worth a try!

Police search a car which crashed into the Desoto County Civic Center, where President George W. Bush was attending a political rally, in Southaven, Mississippi, November 1, 2003. Police swarmed the car and dragged a woman away. 'The president was never in any danger whatsoever,' White House spokesman Trent Duffy told reporters. Bush was in his limousine at the time but was not close to the car when it crashed into a loading dock area of the building. Security officials had chased the car as it headed toward the building, witnesses said, but no shots were fired. REUTERS/Mike Theiler

Obviously it was a cat-owning stalwart GOP mom who loves the masterful, strong, infalible and divinely-appointed GW Bush more than her own husband and wanted so desperately to be with him!

Don't you agree?

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - A car penetrated the security perimeter around the arena where President Bush was speaking Saturday and rammed the building. Authorities swarmed the car with weapons drawn and took away the driver, a woman, and three children who were with her.

Bush was not hurt, and no shots were fired from or at the car, White House spokesman Trent Duffy said. Bush left the arena shortly afterward from an exit about 40 yards from the car. The president was in his limousine at the time of the incident, a senior Bush administration said.

"There was a vehicle that did crash into the side of the building," Duffy said, although it was "not close" to the president's car.

"The president was never in any danger and is keeping with his schedule," Duffy later told reporters aboard Air Force One as Bush flew to Paducah, Ky.

He declined to say whether Bush saw what happened or say what the president's reaction was.

The woman was not immediately identified. A witness, Linda Neeley, 40, a teacher from Horn Lake, Miss., said the children, all boys, were about 10 years old.

She and other witnesses said the woman drove a gray Toyota Camry through a parking lot on same side of the DeSoto Civic Center as the president's exit. The car jumped the curb, drove through a gate where press buses had just left and into the side of the building near a loading dock.

Police rushed the car immediately and dragged out the woman and children. She was handcuffed and all three were taken away. Local law enforcement officials detained the suspect, Duffy said.

The president's motorcade was still parked at the center, where Bush had given the first of four campaign speeches scheduled for Saturday.

Never! I am a Southerner and I noticed that blubba clinton had a faked sounding accent ALL the time. Sometimes it WAS more pronouned when addressing Blacks for instance.

With President Bush, his accent is mild all the time... Texas style drawl. Whenever he gets to talking sort of fast, his drawl really shows... to me at least. I mean, I hear that EVERYTIME he talks fast.... no matter who the audience. He doesn't really have a SOUTHERN ACCENT, it is a Texas drawl. VERY NICE!!!

Yes, some think it's funny. Then we have the people over on DU who don't want anything to happen to President Bush because he might get sympathy from the public or become a martyr if he is killed. It makes me angry that people don't see how serious this is. All it will take is one care filled with explosives..just one.

The constant bashing and hatred being spewed from the mouths of liberal media and the democrats et al is stirring up the nuts. I fear for the President's safety.

Have you considered the fact that that may be their goal? I would think many in the Dem Party and in the media would applaud behind the scenes if Bush were assassinated.

Did any news story EVER mention something such as this during the Hilljackabilly's two terms?

With "The First Bent One", they stayed FAR, FAR WAY from the truth, as you know. They couldn't risk the public catching on with the fact that he was a MASSIVE FRAUD, in addition to being a criminal and a traitor.

*The question is, why do people keep getting through Bush security? This is not the first time.*

Correct. Very bad news for the USSS. Thankfully not bad news for the President.

This shows us two things:

One, the USSS needs to go back to the basics. Two penetrations by auto in a few weeks is failure. Being forced into the secure package is a bad thing.
Two, the president is very vulnerable to a car bomb attack.
