So then you're condoning violence against lawyers. If so, then you really are one sick MF.

Most lawyers as officers of the court are associated with a criminal organization, the state bar which is under the control of the Rothschild family in London. It is no wonder that most Americans view lawyers as legal prostitutes that are licensed to fleece. Most lawyers think that case law takes precendent over the law itself and most haven't a damn clue what our nation was founded under and most could care less.

"Jefferson trusted the people."

Those people were worthy of trust.

This lawyer was apparently in control of the shooter's funds because the shooter was in some way incompetent. The shooter complained that he could not even access those funds for pain medication. I suspect that the shooter's defence attorney will call the victim to testify that the shooter is incompetent to stand trial. If the victim denies that the shooter is incompetent, then it sounds like the shooting may have been justified.

Probate lawyers have a reputation for being greedy. The professor who taught me trusts and estates in law school insisted on the importance of finding ways to avoid probate.

She was probably the lawyer's hooker making her next date after seeing that he wasn't going to be in any shape to pay her fee anytime soon.

What would Jefferson think of the absolute death of common sense over the suit involving McDonald's coffee and the abject stupidity of an old woman?

Hopefully Jefferson would have known better than to take get all their information from late night comedians. McDonald's was lucky the woman spilled her coffee. Otherwise they could have ended up paying the bill for her internal injuries. The coffee was dangerously hot, far hotter than any reasonable person would expect. That's why they got sued, that's why they lost.

What disgusts me is that the lawyer will likely walk away scot free, despite the obvious danger that he put the tree in.

What do you mean? He's gonna sue the gun maker for making a defective product!

How ironic you should bring up comedians.

Coffee has been served hot for decade after decade. And all of a sudden some scumbag ambulance chaser introduces such insanity as the McDonald's suit into the courts.

Please, remind me why I should have sympathy for that old fool, much less the lawyers and the judge who allowed such fantastic nonsense to begin with.

Q: You are trapped in a cave with a bear, a rattlesnake, and a lawyer. You have a gun with only two bullets. What should you do?

A: Shoot the lawyer. Twice.

:O)

If you look at the case, the McDonald's employee practically threw it in her lap.

That makes it different, of course, if it's about employee negligence.

But anyone over the age of three should know that if something's hot, you don't blindly and stupidly gulp it down. You put it close to your mouth, sense the temperature, and ever so lightly sip it. So that crap another poster said about "internal injuries" wouldn't wash with me as a juror.
