Yes, but did you hear...Jim Jeffords defected and John McCain isn't happy with some Republicans

The difference is Jim Jeffords and John Mccain are playing politics over conscience. They are tryin to extend their voter base to the moderates. Zell Miller is retiring after this term so he doesn't have to worry about losing votes by coming out with his honest opinion.

Jeffords voted with the republicans yesterday...i forgot the issue though. I think it was for Judge Pickering.

I realize that. I was being sarcastic about the media coverage...and how they touted Jeffords as a "man of conscience" for over a week, while we'll never hear a thing about Zell's consceince. The same appllies to McCain, who anytime he has a disagreement with Bush or conservatives, is on every news show as a media darling. Do you think Zell...or any of the other "dissenters" will even be discussed by the mainstream media? Hell, they're doing their best to hide these aggitators.
