All card carrying members of the "I Hate the United States" pimps of the election industry!
To: what's up
They've hardly cast a vote this year. It's too much like taking a definite position and God knows, they don't want to lose the chance on changing their mind midstream.

About darn time!!! Thanks for posting this! Now, let's see what we can do to get rid of that abominable ESA (Endangered Species Act) which has already cost human lives in the name of political correctness.

What REALLY ticks me off about this is that they're using millions in tax money, that if the forests had been allowed to be logged, would be MONEY PRODUCING instead of another frikken TAX DRAIN on the average working American.
Bleeping econazis! I hope they all rot!

And how many loggers and mills have been put out of business by these frikken econazis who wouldn't let a single "sacred" tree be cut but who didn't mind if loggers couldn't work and mills had to be closed, reducing the number of taxpayers and increasing the number of those on the unemployment and welfare roles?
I'm so bleeping angry I could just bleep.

NOT TO MENTION the millions upon millions of trees that were home to the frikken beetles, who fed on trees that could have been logged.
Instead, we import wood from frikken Canada.
Bleep them all. Just frikken bleep them all.

Wonder who the 14 were that voted against it? Whoever voted against it needs to get out on the fire lines in SoCal to see first hand what their environmental policies have done to a beautiful state and the San Bernardino Mountain resorts. The interior department reports that over 90% of requests for permits for clearing operations were approved, and many of those contested were eventually improved.
I think folks ought to quit bashing the Bush administration and the Congress for the fires. These things happen. Sure, the bill will improve the situation, but California has had a fire season for a long time and will continue to do so absent another ice age.

If I were a homeowner in the mountains of Southern California, I'd be insulted right now. This hopefully will save homes and property in future years, but this is definitely a case of the Senate closing the barn door after every horse is long gone.
If they want to be helpful, they all should retire and let a new bunch of people actually get something done for the country instead of bellowing pretentious hot air in their precious debating society.

I would think that Kerry, Edwards, and Lieberman are all out campaigning. I don't think they make many votes these days.
In fact, I was flipping through the channels and came across CSPAN2 when they were doing the roll call on this one. The guy reading the names said "Kerry" and then went right on to the next one without waiting for a response. He knew that Kerry wasn't there, there was no point in waiting for his vote.
