OSAMA bin Laden's al-Qaeda terror network is planning a "death blow" against Americans during the holy Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, a Saudi magazine reports in its issue due out today.
"Al-Qaeda is going to carry out a death blow against Americans during the month of Ramadan," Al-Majallah said, quoting an e-mail sent by Abu Mohammed al-Ablaj, identified as a senior member of al-Qaeda.
Ablaj, who regularly communicates with the London-based weekly via e-mail, did not specify if the threatened strike will be carried out in the United States or against American interests abroad.
"Muslims have the right to draw the blood of Americans, civilian or military, everywhere in the world," Ablaj said.
He did not dismiss the possibility of a "painful" strike in Iraq, which is currently under a US-led occupation following the overthrow of dictator Saddam Hussein.
"Bin Laden has ordered his supporters to carry out a guerrilla war against Arab and Muslim countries where there is an American military and commercial presence," Ablaj said.
"The guerrilla war decided by bin Laden and his assistants won't be limited to martyr (suicide) operations mentioned in his last two messages. This (war) will be carried out by other means and (using) different types of weapons," he added.
In a message purported to be from bin Laden and aired on October 18 by Qatar's Al-Jazeera television station, the terror chief threatened to send suicide bombers to the United States and attack any forces joining the US-led coalition in Iraq.

Abu Mohammed al-Ablaj is a high-ranking al-Qaeda leader who has taken over Abu Zubaydah's old job as the head of the network's training program.
The last time he was bragging about attacks to this Saudi magazine, we got bombings in Riyadh, Casablanca, and Chechnya.

Air bursts and Neutron bombs don't fuse the soil, but do wonders as anti-personnel weapons. . .

Not to "frighten" anyone, but I do think some of you are taking this too lightly. I hope we will foil any attempts, but these attacks are not a joke.
Here is an article, that perhaps you didn't see, but it would be a good idea to read.
Report: Palestinians able to carry out chemical attack
Palestinian terror organizations have the ability to carry out a chemical attack in Israel, but have refrained from doing so to date due to the repercussions of such an attack, a senior Israeli security official said this week.
"It is not a problem for terror organizations to attain chemical materials, and they are aware of the advantages of such an attack, but on the other hand [they know] it would be considered breaking all the rules of the game," the official said at a briefing.
He noted that such an attack could kill hundreds or thousands of people, as opposed to the dozen or so people killed in conventional Palestinian suicide bombings.
Chemical materials are readily available at scores of factories across the country, he said, including at the seemingly innocuous Tnuva milk factory in Jerusalem.

First thing Bush should have done after 9/11 was to take out the masque of Omar and that big black cube in mecca.
That would have put the fear of God in those heathens!

Al Qaeda typically issues warning before major atacks.
I think some people prefer to live in denial and take it lightly, because that is easier, but I think the threat is real.
And I wonder what do they mean by "other weapons"?
"The guerrilla war decided by bin Laden and his assistants won't be limited to martyr (suicide) operations mentioned in his last two messages. This (war) will be carried out by other means and (using) different types of weapons," he added. "

You may be right Sam, but we have people over there including military. Think we would blow them up? I doubt it. Any retaliation would be over a few weeks time, while we get our people home.

but do wonders as anti-personnel weapons. . .Yeah, but I meant more of a demonstration, 'midnight suns' on the edge of space as a response to something less than a 9/11 level of destruction. I don't know if that is even possible though due to the effects on satelites and the ISS.

If they attack us again I definately would happily pull the trigger. I'm so tired of the softball we're playing with the Muslims, if they want a damn war we need to quit playing with them and smite them down.

I remember reading about that interview between us and the Iraqi rep just before the first Gulf War that involved our rep sliding an envelope (from Bush 1) across the table to the other. It read something to the effect that if one toe of the Iraqi army crossed the border to Saudi they would be nuked. It brought fear to the eyes of the rep. Sorry that I can't remember the individuals involved. I remember something similar .... also the Iraqi army did have orders to do just that, but the Kuwaitis kept them busy long enough to stop that plan.

"...the other night for the Ramadan dinner!"
Bush is not anti-Muslim, only fundamental millitant islamist, i.e. terrorist. I think the more Muslims we have on our side, the better.
Just my humble opinion, thats all.
On a side note: My father is a substitute teacher and he relayed a story to me that really touched my heart. The kids in this one particular class were being very obnoxious and disrespectful to him. Yet there was this little muslim girl being very obedient in the back. When my father complimented her behavior and her work, he said she gave him a smile that just lit up the room. She was so happy to have been affirmed in a positive manner.
