"The last time he was bragging about attacks to this Saudi magazine, we got bombings in Riyadh, Casablanca, and Chechnya. "

Al Qaeda typically issues warning before major atacks.

I think some people prefer to live in denial and take it lightly, because that is easier, but I think the threat is real.

And I wonder what do they mean by "other weapons"?

"The guerrilla war decided by bin Laden and his assistants won't be limited to martyr (suicide) operations mentioned in his last two messages. This (war) will be carried out by other means and (using) different types of weapons," he added. "

I think it's real too. It is possible that they are now communicating exclusively through couriers and the chances are that we're just not picking up any intelligence/chatter on any new plots they may be cooking up. It will probably be another surprise sneak attack just like September 11.

Abu Mohammed al-Ablaj is on record as saying that al-Qaeda has access to at least some portion of the old Iraqi arsenal and has openly admitted working with Saddam Hussein. He's also the one who threatened to use sarin against us a few months back in addition to poisoning our water supply.

FairOpinion and JustPiper, I would refer you both to that earlier thread from the Washington Post a few months ago about the info on al-Qaeda's WMD program that was found on Khalid's computer.
