...Los Angeles County Parks officials and deputies arrived about 10 a.m. as Armouchian was standing next to a four-foot-wide fire. He warned the deputies to stay away and not extinguish the blaze, Det. Ed Nordskog said.

The fire was in a dry creek bed and had not been built on dryer brush nearby, Nordskog said. Armouchian might have been under the influence of methamphetamine at the time, Nordskog said.

Meth- It's everywhere. Cheap and easy to make. Go down to your local police/sheriff station and have a long dinner with one of the drug enforcement guys. You buy him dinner and get an education.
One of the reasons you can't buy more than 1 package at a time of Sudafed, etc, is that they boil it down and it is one of the main ingredients in Meth. So when you and I get a sinus infection, cold, etc, we get to make multiple trips to get medicine, because we aren't making Meth.

I was just going to post about the number of meth labs in Oklahoma. It's the number one problem for our local police here in Marlow. Marlow is a town of around 5,000 people, most of which are normal, conservative and law-abiding.

Tennessee is covered with Meth. Just about anytime you see an old school bus or delivery truck in some out of the way place, there is a good chance that it is a meth lab. June Carter Cash's daughter died Saturday apparantly in a meth accident inside an old bus.
