If just being the owner and caretaker of your pet isn't enough for you, MarryYourPet.com can help you take your relationship to the next level.
The site offers online weddings between humans and members of any other species, though it points out that the marriages are not recognized by any government or church.
As with human-to-human marraiges, there are no guarantees of happiness, either.
"If your marriage breaks down or you can no longer stand their smelly breath, it's entirely your own problem. If Fido goes barmy and eats all the china or Fluffy piddles in your trainer, we will only laugh," the site says.
It also calls marriage "the ultimate way to prove you care."

Marry my cat? No way! I don't believe in same-sex marriages.

We have been doing that on farms in Iowa for years. Ewe, Ewe, Ewe, I'm in love with Ewe.

Yecchhh...I'm with you on this one. I love our family dog, but I wouldn't want to marry her (even though she does sleep with us)!

Why marry the cow when you can get the milk for free?

You don't have to worry about a sodomy charge unless the pig squeals.

As PETA hates people, I wonder how they feel about this concept.

People marrying their pets? Well, that will just open the door for gays and lesbians, now wont it?

Well, I wouldn't do it, but my cat is convinced we are married. If one of the others gets friendly with me, they get a swat from her. Cats sometimes give their human partners **LOOKS** that should not be given between species- And of course those "Ever see THIS Before?" poses...ahem.

How much you wanna bet that in a few years San Francisco will be requiring businesses to pay for the medical care for these animals...
