[history]
Twelve people were injured last night, five of them seriously, when the van they were riding in rolled over on an Interstate 10 offramp east of Tucson.
Sgt. Don Quaintance of the state Department of Public Safety said the van rolled as it exited I-10 onto Marsh Station Road about 8:20 p.m.

But, but, I don't understand.
af_vet_1981 said that Syria was all wrong about our inability to control our borders. It was all Propaganda!
Traitors, you are all traitors! By pointing out that these people may have been illegal, you have aided and abetted the Syrian Government.
Shame on you all!
To: sasafras
Mexico wouldn't use the American documents they might have been carrying to identify them ---- because here they use stolen identification ---- you'd never be able to find their families to inform them.

Thanks for the ping. Syria is wrong. They can stop the terrorists. They don't want to because they are Baathists. We are their enemy. They are our enemy. The Syrians put out a propaganda excuse and notwithstanding the fact we do not control all entry and exit on our southern and northern borders, the Syrians are without excuse for their sponsored terrorism that is killing Americans. He who praises and parrots the Syrians, is giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

the Syrians are without excuse for their sponsored terrorism that is killing Americans. Perhaps, but if they managed to control their borders, when we can't ... that would be pretty darn embarassing for us.
Imagine if they were able to shore up all border crossings real quick.
Then THEY would have to teach US how to do it.
Scary thought.
I actually prefer to believe that it is a nearly impossible job, and that we are not intentionally letting it happen.
Voter ID cards at that! Eeesh.

It is also considered bad form to drag disagreements/discussions from thread-to-thread. They are somewhat related. If this thread was about, say, Bill Clinton's cigar habits, then I would agree.
But this thread was very relevant to the other one. It probably would have been worse for to repost this article in the other thread. No?

Those are Mexican voter IDs...the Mexican voting system is extremely strict about ID...unlike the Matricula Consular.
Those voter IDs are useless in the US, except to allow our LEOs to identify corpses.

A 1992 Chevrolet Astro van with 12 people riding in it??? Not very smart, as this van is made for eight people. A co-worker's son is a ranger here in the Coronado National Monument. He stopped a Ford Taurus carrying 8 illegals...several were in the trunk. I remember getting into the drive-in that way...but I wouldn't want to make the 4 hour drive from the border to Phoenix that way!!

I think it is self-evident that our government is turning a blind eye to illegal immigration. If we could overrun Iraq in a few weeks militarily, we could certainly control our own southern border with Mexico against unarmed people.
It is a matter of political will, not capability. A decision was made at a very high level to allow cheap labor to flow into this nation, and both major political parties support that decision.
The evidence simply demands that verdict.
The only question is whether or not we will all sit idly by and let our politicians destroy our culture and way of life.

Man oh man...Marsh Station Road westbound at 65 MPH? It's a wonder he didn't kill them all!
I wonder what made the idiot decide to get off there...unless he was planning on putting them on a slow moving freight train...that's where the UP tracks cross over the Interstate...

Their medical bills will either be charged to AHCCCS (Arizona Medicaid) or they will be 'cash-applied' at the ER desk. That means they will be required to pay cash for services rendered. The billing office gets a local address and sends them a bill. Of course, the address is bogus and the hospital ends up writing it off as bad debt. Well, I don't know for sure about Tucson, but that is the way it works here in Sierra Vista.
And that is one of the major reasons why there's a healthcare crisis in the U.S.
