Hillary loses. Ain't life grand?

Large number of Democrats cross the isle to vote in favor of Leavitt.

The Senate is still voting, but the count isn't showing on CSPAN2 screen. Maybe the radio station is keeping their own count.

KSL had a live feed as the 51st vote was counted. It's a done deal.

I'd head to Grand Staircase-Escalante with my ATV, mining equipment, and hunting gear (if I had any of them) just to tick off the eco-nazis.

Just like she's going to vote for Bush in 2004.

I hope so, but she seemed rather proud of her letter from the Bush Admin.

Yeah, I wonder if some of the Democrat Party Operatives in DC are growing testes. Perhaps they stood up to Hitlery & TheBentOne this time.

What companies were mining for coal in that area before Bubba stopped them.

They might be a heck of an investment.

The day the dems start opposing Hillary and Bill and McAwful will be the day to start watching the ice cubes pour out of hell! Someone cut a deal and the republicans always lose on the deal cutting!

Depends on who is doing the deal. Ronald Reagan got acused of this his entire political life as governor and president. I think that he was very successful. GW has learned by watching President Reagan in action.

Are you interested in RR'S comments the critics who called him a deal cutter?

Hope Leavitt is a good one.

I believe he'll be better that Christy W. but that's not a forecast of dramatic change. The mid-to-low level bureaucrats in the agency can continue to wreak their punishment on the nation and there is little to stop them.

I hope his first action is to scrap those damn regulations forbidding the Forest Service or anyone else from clearing and maintaining woodlands.

That way, NEXT TIME there are fires in So Cal, they won't be as bad and will have less fuel!

"Do we really want to return to the days when rivers caught fire and people literally keeled over from air pollution?" Lautenberg asked.

Utah isn't New Jersey, Frank! and the TORCH should be in PRISON!
