Tell mom I said....
You go, girl!

Thank you so much! May God bless!
I tend to think this situation in KA might be more in line with the passage that talks about earthquakes, fires, and rumors of war (unless you can give me a brief description of what the first 3 bowls are). Do you know which scripture I'm talking about? My apologies for not being good about remembering specific scripture.

From the CA Message Board on FR:
LAPD warns of scam fire 'inspections'
http://www.washtimes.com/upi-breaking/20031028-010202-8777r.htm LOS ANGELES, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Los Angeles residents were warned Tuesday that cat burglars were using the nearby wildfires as a diversion to get inside their homes and steal.
Police officials said thieves posing as fire inspectors have been targeting seniors in recent days.
The scam artists knock on doors and seek permission come inside to check the water pressure, or they go into the backyard to look for trees that ostensibly might be a fire hazard. Once the resident is distracted, the "inspector's" cohort slips inside and quickly grabs whatever jewelry or property of value that is convenient.
The LAPD said residents near the fire lines shouldn't allow strangers into their backyards, and reminded them that water pressure for firefighting isn't checked from the inside.

Looks like that none of the areas around Rim of the World are totally out of danger tonight. Fires have flared back up all over SoCal as winds shifted and fires have crossed over HWY 38.
Looks like the fires are developing into more of a firestorm tonight and unpredictable from reports out of the Mountains.

I wish they were - but then again, they were rather ticked that nobody was paying attention to 'em, so I doubt it.

I agree with you re: the scripture. It's gonna be a whole lot worse than this, in my opinion, when God sends fire down.
This is rumors of wars...

So let me get this straight...the sea breeze did not do anything and all hell is still breaking loose?
To: viaveritasvita
I'll go look, (damned dialup). I watched Dan Rather tonite, he was right in the heart of my bro's neighborhood talking to the neighbors. I wish I could get out there, but my next 5 weekends are spoken for with airline tix paid for in advance! (which is ironic because I can fly to SD for free any day since I am a retired airline employee!)

They were there in force...probably about 8 - 10 of them. It was the first time I have seen mass numbers of people crossing the picket lines. The strikers must have felt more petty and insignificant than ever. My wife got mad when I gave them the thumbs down sign. Oh, well. I don't support them and I wanted them to know it. ;-)

The sea winds not breeze did a lot -- winds picked up and took the fires in a different direction at the same time the fires started developing a wind of their own. In the mountains when the wind shift to the NE it took the flames over Hwy 38. What they thought would be good, has turned into more of a nightmare at least for the Mountains of San Bernardino.
Monster flames are roaring through the Canyon towards Stevenson Ranch which they are hoping to protect.

How come Paul Moyer has yet to even loosen his tie?
If past history is any indication, at this point in time, shouldn't he be without a jacket or a tie, shirt sleeves rolled up, and no pants?
