not sure what MSNBC is live feeding, but the chopper feed been showing a big house burning to the ground in under 10 minutes time.

hey...there you are...to the best of my knowledge...everyone off the mountain..mandatory..even up to Forest Falls. The way out for those folks is down 38. Showing pictures on our local feed of the cars by the hundreds leaving the area...
LOL....just made my self a sandwich..so involved I forgot to take the paper divider off one slice...sheesh..there was a post earlier that some folks in Yucaipa are getting nervous...I was nervous last night when I cruised down the 38 in Mentone.

It's eating into new fuel...should SDFD have made air drops on the east end of the fire while the santa anna's were still going? then the fire would have been hobbled if it shanged direction.

The MSNBC feed just panned out. It appears to be a "spread out" group off homes. All fully engulfed.
Still not sure where the chopped is at.

Reminds me of Los Alamos fire a couple of years ago. Of course that received more coverage because of the proximity to the nuclear lab.

Great screen shot capture. Those light colored trees in the picture are dead pines, dry and ready to explode like an old Christmas tree. Not looking good.
