For Terri 59 to 41.
Come from way behind over the past day. Now it looks like the numbers for her opposition are going up pretty quick.

Thanks! BTW, hubby says he's delighted the ACLU is getting involved on Michael's side... It'll seal their fate and destroy them! (Hopefully.)

I have never been so proud to be associated with FreeRepublic.com. Me neither Saundra!! I finally set aside a fear that I have had of posting and " getting involved" and have just " done IT"!!!! We MUST do all we can for Terri. I pray God will take our " five loaves and two fish" and multiply them for His Glory!

This issue may just be the one that plants FR solidly in the mainstream like no other except Clinton info. And the future of America's ethics may very well be determined by the outcome of Terri's case. I think it's THAT important.

Local Radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge is having a canned food drive in support of Terri Schiavo. They will be located somewhere near the Hospice where Terri is being kept. It begins in the morning at 06:00, the exact location will be announced at that time on 98 ROCK
97.9, to avoid intervention by local (Pinellas Park PD) law enforcement.
Here is a link to the event. It describes the exact type of food Terri is fed and where it can be ordered. I imagine at this late hour it will be difficult to locate locally but they say you can bring Ensure which is some type of liquid nourishment.
I had my doubts about Bubbas original motivation but decided that anything that brings people together for this cause is worthwhile.
I will be attending after I get off work at 06:00, hope some of you can attend also.

If Bubba the Love Sponge, one of the most obnoxious radio shock jocks on Tampa Bay radio offers his "help", I guess we must all be very gratefull!
Pardon me if I do not automatically jump for joy for the increased publicity.
Please report back, after you attend.
I knew a few people who actually listened to him regularly. They were relatively normal.

Like I said, I am not sure of his motivation, but I know mine and I will be there. I am not claiming to be normal.

Before I congraulate Michel on anything, hell will be frozen over for eternity.
I have not changed my opinion of Michael one iota ever since I saw him on t.v.

Being from Pinellas Co., can you explain to the forum why George W. Greer is such a popular figure in your county? He just does not impress me at all, but he seems to have some hold on the citizens there. Has Greer done a lot of personal favors over the years for many people? One poster described him as the "ultimate politician."
To: NRA1776
I deleted my sarcasm tags, and asked you to report back on this, because you said you planned to attend.
I am rarely accused of normalicy myself.
I am interested in his intent.
He has a large audience.I am not one of them.
But occasionally, reportedly, he says something that I can heartily agree with.
I also, briefly, met members of Terri's family at the prayer vigils, and I am concerned for their sake, that the number of various and assorted professional "activists" and some downright strange weirdos,do not add to the burden they already carry.
That is all I meant by my request that you report back here.

I'm not certain about King, but most shows I'm familiar with don't take calls until the host announces the number on the air.
