What I heard on Larry King tonight, we haven't had all of the facts. One of which was that Michael took Terri to California for a month, with a nurse, for experimental electrical tests on her brain. And, Michael's comment that the first doctors would have seen fractures (bone breaks cause bruising, ya know) is all too true, & is a question many of us have asked from the first time we heard of the fractures.
That puts a whole new perspective on this case. The Schindlers tell us what they want us to know?
Not that it lets Felos off the hook in the Suncoast Hospice deal.

From a few months after Tewrri collapsed to the day the money was won in the lawsuit, Michael showed an effort to find therapy for Terri. She actually was making some progress. As soon as the money arrived, Michael stopped 'wasting funds' to have rehabilitation therapy for Terri. In 1998 or 1999, Mr. Pearse, the state appointed GAL filed complaint with the Greer court that Michael was not providing therapy or even treatment for infections for Terri. Pearse also registered his testimony that Michael had too many conflicts of interest to be Terri's guardian, to be in charge of Terri's life and death decisions. In 2000, Michael was authorized by Greer to have hydration and food with held from Terri so that she would die. At that point, the only money from the awarded trust fund in the lawsuit, that was deposited for Terri's rehabilitation, spent was that authorized by Greer to be plundered in order to pay euthanasia atty, Felos. None of the $750,000 awarded for Terri's rehabilitation was ever spent on Terri, just Michael's efforts to have her put down.

Thank for the info. Also, I'm glad that you've gained additional perspective - as have I.

But one must know what kind of tests, and what were the results. Was it experimental? From what I remember, Michael didn't allow the parents to be party to that experiment nor the results.

I am no medical expert, but the first doctors may have assumed (based on info from Michael) that she collapsed from the bulimia induced potassium imbalance, and were not searching for strangulation marks. The fractures you mention were likely microfractures, and not something one sees unless looking for it. Also Michael could have come up with many explanations for any bruising that appeared.
Another factor is that if true she was a bulimic, then that self-inflicted disease causes a discoloration of the skin, which might hide any bruising. Poor circulation, same thing.
Then again, maybe he didn't strangle her. We don't know for sure (yet).

Sorry to bother you so much, but you bring up good questions.
If Michael took Terri to Cali for a month, and they conducted electrical tests on her brain which apparently did not work, one wonders why didn't he declare her brain dead then and have her starved?

" One of which was that Michael took Terri to California for a month, with a nurse, for experimental electrical tests on her brain ." Add electro shock torture to the abuse Michael has done to Terri.

The California trip wasn't new to me. It's been in the threads here.
I've never heard all the details though.
Where he took her? Is it a recommended procedure? Did he have court permission? Why couldn't they have done the procedure in Florida? Probably some new-age treatment, just like his new-age attorney. Did he take his girlfriend and his child out there using Terri's money? While Terri was getting electrodes planted, was it really a vacation for Michael and his girlfriend away from her parent's prying eyes?
I've never heard what the family's response to this claim.
Did you see Greta tonight? She evidently dug though his 1993 disposition and found contradictory statements in his testimony on the very same day.
Did you know the doctors he used to testify about her persistent vegetative state, always testifies that way in court. Supposedly, he said the same thing about a man who later woke up from his "persistent vegetative state", but this man still testifies as an expert.
I've got a feeling the more we find out about Micheal, the more we are going to be surprised at what he got away with.
It is not just the family, but friends of Terri have testified as to what happened that night. One of her friends testified that she wanted to have Terri spend the night, because Terri and Michael were fighting and Terri wanted a divorce, but Terri decided to go home alone and said she would pretend to be asleep when her husband came in.
