I get these scam emails all the time. I usually respond
with "Jesus can deliver you from this life of crime".
That's the problem. His shipping and handling charges are too high,
and he won't deliver COD.

What an opprtunity! After you receive your share, you might be interested in putting some $$$$ into a dehydrated water franchise network I'm creating.
What do you think of "H2O 2 Go" for our slogan?

Great idea. I have a warehouse full of dehydrated H2O tablets. You know, just add to a glass of water.

I got it through regular email (immediately deleted), but not Freepmail. Thanks for the warning, though, I'll be looking for it with my finger poised over the delete key.

Here's the procedure for reporting this scam to Yahoo:
Hello,
Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Mail.
Mass distribution of unsolicited email messages (or "spamming")
violates
the Yahoo! Terms of Service (TOS).
Please include the following in your report of email abuse to assist us
in a prompt and full investigation:
1. Original subject line -- Please forward the email with a subject
identical to the original subject.
2. Complete headers -- Email programs often display abbreviated
headers. To learn how to display the full headers in a Yahoo! Mail
account, please visit the Yahoo! Mail Help Desk at:
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/config/config-11.html If you are using a different client to read your email, please consult
your email program's help system for more information on viewing full
headers.
3. Complete message body -- Please include the complete, unedited
content of the email message in question. Please do not change or edit
the message in any way.
If reports of email abuse are missing any one of these three items, it
may take longer for the Yahoo! Mail Abuse Team to properly investigate
and take appropriate action. We appreciate your efforts in reporting
this abuse to Yahoo!. At this time, we will need you to forward a copy
of the message, as opposed to sending it as an attachment. Due to
security purposes, our custom messaging system is unable to access
attachments.
Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Customer Care.
Regards,
Yahoo! Customer Care

There was a guy named Oboto a month or so back.Something about the name lends itself to a limerick:
There once was a guy named Oboto,
Who scammed stead of playing the Lotto,
With his ill-gotten gains,
He invited some dames,
And darn
If they didn't all get blotto!

Banned poster Willowydame (aka objectivedame) is a Nigerian national who has lived in the US for a number of years. She has supported herself in the states through procuring (pimping) and money laundering, activities to which she pleaded guilty in NYC two years ago and nolo contedere in LA a couple of years before that. In NYC there is a growing presence of Nigerian organized crime. No one operates a call girl ring in NYC without connections to Organized Crime.

Send a copy of your e-mail to the Secret Service. They are keeping a log of all the Nigerian e-mail scams. A year or so ago, two Americans were killed in Nigeria because of this.
Do not reply to the e-mail and do not send your e-mail copy for the FBI; they will just tell you to forward it to the Secret Service anyway.
Hope this is of some help for you.
