I just drove north on DeSoto, where the 118 freeway is closed, and you can see that the fire has started making it's way DOWN the SF Valley side of the hills in Chatsworth.

According to the Anchor's Dad on CNN -- all schools/universities shut in San Diego. Winds are popping up again in the area. Ashes just keep coming down all over San Diego. Her Dad is reporting that a lot of San Diego firefighters had been sent to San Bernardino to help out before the San Diego fire started. The animals at the Zoo have not been affected. Most of the horses in E. San Diego have gotten their horses/livestock to safe areas. Churches in San Diego are organizing all over San Diego to take needed items to Qualcomm and to Balboa Park.
