Contrary to popular belief, California is not a liberal stomping ground... The places where the fires are happening (San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Simi Valley) are all conservative areas... hence, the elite media is ignoring it - just like it ignores the rest of "flyover country".

But the media went nuts over Hurricane Isabel that was primarily hitting North Carolina and Virginia, mostly good conservative areas . . . the incompetence and lack of vision of these news organizations is mind numbing . . .
