Exactly right, Mo. POTUS would add to the troubles --- we have quite enough on our plate.
I remain "stunned" for lack of a better word. My mind is numb.

Someone just called into cnn and said there were 3 in custody for starting the San Diego fires. Turns out it was someone from the Howard Stern show....lol..oh man...they get on EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!! Kagan looked like she was gonna have a litter of kittens she was so pissed.

No. Half of my neighbor evacuated. Only a few of us are still hanging in. The fire right now is just slightly west of Dixon lake. It's about a mile and a half from where I am and it's holding...

My dear friend and her husband are both San Diego firefighters. Their home is in Santee near Mission trails Regional Park. Do you know if that part of Santee is in danger at this time? (worried and praying for their safety)

"Davis talked (I think it was)this morning about asking AZ and NV for help" He sould of done this two days ago. This is a disaster.
I realize the difficulty of the situation and the conditions they are facing but IMO they waited too long to declare a state of emergency and too long in asking for outside help.

Kagan from CNN said "Yeah real amusing..people are losing their homes and lives and we get someone again from Howard Stern doing this"
One thing Daryn...WHERE THE HELL WAS CNN COVERING THIS ALL WEEKEND?!?!?! Oh sorry...we had more important things to watch like People In The News and the updates on Jen Anniston and her hubby Brad Pitt going to save the world in the middle east.

It's getting pretty hot in the old California Southland.

Simi Valley Fire -- has cross 118 once again going toward a housing area, but they now have the choppers in the air dropping a mixture alternated with water on the side of the freeway. Fire is reburning what was burned an hour ago there and the flames are getting higher. This is near Cooter Road (sp). The homes that were threatened this morning are once again threatened. That's probably Kuehner Rd. Thanks so much for the updates on the Simi Valley fire!

No, the Cedar fire is one, I think the graphis is just showing where it spread. The number of miles it moved is just huge, and in just hours.

According to KTLA it was headed toward the San Fernando Valley but with all the choppers that have been using looks like they are getting the Simi Valley fire under more control and winds are not blowing as hard. Last report did not have it heading to the San Fernando Valley now.
