Thanks for your report!
KFI reporting that 100 feet flames coming toward the multi-million dollars houses near Chatsworth. They have a lot of fire equipment there in the development trying to stop the fire.
Who is the stupid mayor of LA -- what a Clymer -- sounds like he is talking about a football team when he talks about firefighters.

Keeping our fingers crossed and praying for our fiends.Friend and fiend alike! j/k - prayers for all in the area. They've got to remain on guard and keep track of how these fires are moving.

Been hearing reports they have made their last runs for the night! They had to stop flying in Simi Valley earlier because of the dense smoke.

anyone else remember when the C130s were based at Van Nuys? as a kid I would sit at the end of the runaway watching them come back after fighting fires.
I just got a break, this is getting pretty grim. I was in Claremont, San Dimas area working on fire line today. Very smokey with wind from the north now. We almost lost our L.A. Co. FS 62 in north CLaremont.
If anyone needs help evacuating or needs a place to stay if you've been evacuated post up here and we'll take care of it. My house is now full with but I'm sure we can find a spot instead of sitting in one of those evac centers.
If you need help getting livestock out post up here. There is plenty of help out here you just have to speak up.
And for heaven's sake, if you get an evac order get the heck out. I saw some utter stupidity today from people who were sneaking through fire lines to go back into the fire areas. People died near Crestline because they didn't heed the order. THere is nothing worth your life. If you have family anywhere on the mountain near Lake Arrowhead, tell them to get off the mountain. There are only a couple ways out and if the fire runs and cuts off one road they will never get out.
More later, need to rehydrate and take a shower, the falling ash is bad too here.
And can we just shoot them SOB looters on sight? Give us the order Governor Ahnold and we'll start plugging them as we see them.

I cannot believe at looking up at the San Bernardino mountains at night and seeing fire when usually all you can see are a few lights. I can remember sitting on the patio looking up at the mountains on clear nights as the planes would come over the mountains on their way into Ontario and LAX -- cannot imagine looking out and seeing fire along the Rim of the World drive.
And the broadcast cable media is horrible with their reports!

I'm sorry, I haven't heard any specific details for about 3 hours.

I clicked on the link and found a page listing mandatory evacuation sites. My sister's home is listed: the 3000 block of Victoria in Alpine.
Could you please list the site you found this?? Thanks
