The problem is that there is heavy smoke all over and air control has already had to be moved north from Miramar. You don't want to risk bringing in AF One and having people involved in emergency preparedness have to deal with a Presidential visit. That would be foolish with all of the mandatory evacuations going on right now.

The fire in San Bernardino has now turned into a homicide investigation since the people in the van were seen flicking matches into the dry brush as they drove along and two people have died! Hope they catch them and bring out the gallows to give them a public hanging!

KFI reporting that winds have shifted and blowing from the South -- causing the the smoke to get thicker in the Simi Valley fire -- cannot bring in helicopters or planes right now because of the heavy black smoke.
