The essence of life is how we live it, not for how long

By K.O. Jackson News Journal

After its pathetic, political process of 2000, it's plausible if God took a respite from Florida.

But being old, and being surrounded by folks older than Moses, you would think the Almighty would have returned to the Sunshine State.

Then again, why? His replacement is there. Who died and left Gov. Jeb Bush God? And when did the Alpha and Omega change his name?

The essence of human life is how you treat animals and your fellow human beings.

Starving either of them is inhumane.

Michael Schiavo's rights end where his wife's nose begins.

He has no right to dispose of her life.

Year 2015. A bloated and aging President Hilliary Clinton spoke to a group of insurance company executives and trial lawyers in Washington today. In her speach she urged congress to enact her proposals, collectively titled the Social Humanity Act. President Clinton said, "today we have many suffering and aged that have outlived their useful tax lives, I feel their pain." Citing rising medical costs she said, "The children are being denied adequate government education, medical Ritalin, and video entertainment helmets."

In other news: A euthanasia nurse was killed instantly, when a home made bomb exploded under her car, outside a recently defunded veterans home. This was the first fatality and ninetenth attack on euthanasia nurses this year. The FBI is investigating. Social medicine advocates in congress are debating laws that would impose the death penalty and send a message to those that would attack medical professionals.

Congress is debating a new law known as FAECE, Freedom of Access to Euthansia Center Entrances that will place severe penalties on anyone who by force or threat of force obstructs the valuable and necessary work done in those centers to eliminate useless baby boomers.

The essence of life is how we live it, not for how long.

And that is something that's determined in retrospect at the end of one's life, which, we hope, is not at the hand of another human for either selfish or altruistic purposes.

One person's right to die doesn't confer onto another a license to kill.
